Guilty Gear Xx Accent Core Plus R?
Is this going to be the updated version for XBLA or is that just for the Japanese arcades?

So far it's just balance loketest for Japanese arcades. It will more than likely be applied either to the xbla & psn versions or it will be put to disc for the consoles.

i read that it was going to be ported over to XBLA and PSN this summer

edit: and as soon as I typed that, a google search mentioned a possible october date.

I heard so much about the GG franchise and this looks like a great opportunity to try it out. Just a bit mind-fucked on which version this game is supposed to be. Re-release in HD? Updated version of the latest version of the game?
