Zangief's lariat has been nerfed with the recent patch (They can block/attack low with ease). Has anyone tried this as well?

Bad time for me to start running Mission mode after buying this game day 1. :/

Maelstrom Of Combos quick guide

Maelstrom Of Combos 10
Connect with 100 Quick Combos.

To get this one quick, start a vs match with a 2nd controller.

Choose anyone as your team leader and set his/her health to 25% then someone with a relatively quick auto combo (I chose Ryu) for your team mate. For player two choose any team it doesn't really matter (although I chose Hugo as he's easy to hit).

Soon as you start the round activate pandora, when Ryu jumps in wait a second for him to get 3 bars then start spamming your auto combo. I managed to get 3 off per round before the timer ran out (you could extend this with the Gem that extends Pandora time) as you don't have to connect with every hit of an auto combo.

So on 7 rounds that's 4 rounds (that you lose) but you get 3 auto combos per round = 16 per match.

Select player 2's first player as Hugo and slap on the LIFE gem. Then on player 1's Ryu, slap on extended pandora time for a max of 4 per round.

No. Thank YOU for submitting it! It's been 4 months but I'm glad to finally see it up there. Always feels good to see a guide posted to the main site.

I did notice you omitted some of the credits, namely one of the people who were forced to leave 360a a year ago. As long as they know they were credited in the forum version of the guide(and they are) that's all that should matter. I'm not looking for any trouble from him.

Sorry about that delay, the guide team got really backed up for a while and we've just now finished processing all of the built up submissions. From now on, though, you should expect to see a turnaround time of a month or less.

The credit omission wasn't anything personal, it's just the way we go about processing guides. We generally try to make them look formal and professional and crediting people for individual achievements in the guide doesn't accomplish that. However if multiple people have made significant contributions to the guide we can give multiple people credit in the "Guide by:" section at the top of the guide. If you'd like me to do that it's a really quick fix, just let me know.

Also, your guide was exceptionally well-written. In terms of editing I really only had to do some light formatting. We value the community's quality guide-makers in the guide team, so if there's anything we can help you with in the future just let me or one of the other members know!

PLEASE NOTE that super finishes doesn't count if you use Super Charge. You have to use 2 bars per finish. However, the "connect with 500 super arts" allows it. Although, you can get 500 EX, 500 Supers, 100 Quick Combos and 100 Assist Gems activated during the 500 pandora achi grind, since it gives you unlimited cross gauge.

Apparently Alisa has a move that recharges her Cross Gauge automatically, so maybe it will be easier to grind with her when she's released.

So one of the updates has changed it to where you can't use Super Charges to count towards the Super Finishes? I also heard about Zangief being nerved so he's not as effective for Mission Mode.

A lot's changed since the game first dropped so I guess I'll have to go back and change some things in the guide if I can get authorization from.

EDIT: Because of copyright issues with this guide and the other author I don't feel comfortable with tweaking this guide too much especially now that it's been put on the main site. However, if you come up with your own verbatim updated solution for boosting some of the achievements, I'll gladly add it to the guide under whichever method that needs updating.

500 Pandoras is absolutely ridiculous. The ONLY way to get this is by grinding (NOBODY uses the stupid concept of Pandora) and that will take endless hours.
Just when they got the trial and titles achievements right, they had to throw in a stupid amount of "do a certain move" that has ridiculous conditions.

And no DLC achievements. Oh, Capcom...

How easy is this game to get 100% ??

I like SSF4 but don't really love it... Same goes for Tekken 6. If this game is like a cross then I should like it too, but I have so many games that I don't really need to add another for the sake of it unless I'm gonna complete it ;-)

It's easy except for mission mode, which is just insane. Then there are very grindy achis. And this game is really not an example of something that's larger than the sum of it's parts.
