Easy Way To Get The Fog Skull Solo

If you watch the video posted here --> http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f...d.php?t=343612. You can see how he does a Grenade Jump to get the Skull. Some people find the Grenade Jump a little hard to do. So after lots of trail and error I figured out an easy way to get the skull without having to use Grenades. To get the Skull. Simply keep going through the level. Go out the 2 doors and you will be in a big clearing. If you look across the map and to the left you will see a Warthog that is flipped over. Go get the Warthog and bring it back into the room with the Skull. To get through the 2 doors. Just drive up to the door. Hop out so it opens and then hop back into the Warthog and drive it through the door before it closes. Now that your in the room with the skull. I will do my best to describe what to do with the hog. Watch the video in the URL above. You see where he throws the first Grenade. This is where you need to place the Warthog. But you have to place it so that the front of the Warthog is facing down to the floor and the rear wheels of the Warthog is above the window. To do this you have to go the the left or right side of the window and drive the Warthog backwards and slowly move it left or right until the rear wheels catch above the window. Once the wheels catch you can slow make the Warthog slide towards the platform. Once the Warthog in place. You then get out and run up the sides of the window. Jump on the back of the Warthog and then jump onto the mounted Turret. You can then Jump from the Turret to the Platform and then jump up and get the Skull.

I used your method and was able to reach the Fog Skull after just a few attempts. Thanks for the heads up, as this is so much easier than trying to do a normal grenade jump to get up there.

I saw this post and told a friend of mine what you did; he wasn't able to do it till he grenade jumped from the back of the warthog turret. Thanks for the tip.
