Not sure if anyone else has commented on this yet, and I am only just reading the thread, but this isn't true.

I just unlocked Flying Ace playing as Piers all offline and single player. I haven't been connected to Xbox Live for a few days now due to broadband issues. I can confirm you CAN unlock flying Ace with Piers in single player as I just did it, and in fact it's much easier to get it this way.

Well, my AI Chris was just an idiot then... we got hit multiple times when I played as Piers.

yes, you have to be offline to pause the game.

you have to set it to offline in the screen where you can choose coop and infinite ammo and so on.

you can still be on live, just set it to offline in the game.

just a quick note to add to your guide on the sneak achievement for ada you can't restart after you get caught it has to be on one solid run

i know your guide doesn't say you can or can't restart but may be worth adding in

That's not true, I got caught midway and hit to restart my last checkpoint manually and it worked just fine.

You just can't hit CONTINUE, that's it.

ahh I got caught and went to hit back and it loaded a cutscene where i got shot at and restarted after that and I never got it

the most common are nepads(sp), and you'll see regular enemies kind of turn pale and burn up then they'll start to become slimy and crystallize. After ten seconds or so they should pop out and once they do that's when you kill them, good farming spots are in Chris's Chapter 5 or even Chapter 2 but that takes longer.

It would be a good idea to add the required or recommended Chapter for the achievements. There's a few achievements that are specific to certain Chapters, so for example you could do...

Hard Choice 15G
Shoot the helicopter pilot with a Magnum at point-blank range.
Chapter X (no idea what Chapter it is, hence my point.)

Play Jakes campaign and make sure you're Jake. When you get to chapter in the open area with the Helicopter climb up one of the building and then climb the rope. Once you've climbed the rope blast the pilot. Does not have to be with Magnum. Can be done with his starting pistol also.

Seems more buggy I'd say since I unlocked the achievement with 8 RPG kills in my stats.

I have noticed not many people have commented on this achievement yet, i know its not the hardest to get, as just by completing the campaign and playing Merc's a bit will likely make it pop but for anyone interested in getting all of them or just wanted to look-up some simple one's so they could get the achievement to pop quicker, this is a list i have compilied thus far

I got covered in brass before even attempting to get it. I'd say just play the game. Go for other achievements, mix it up here and there and you're golden.

So I'm not sure If anyone else Is having this problem but when the game came out my brother and I beat all 3 campaigns but for some reason I didn't get credit for beating Chapter 5 of Chris's campaign yet he did? So I just said screw it so I just continued my campaign for Chris on chapter 5 where it says I was and beat it again and still nothing? I'm not sure what else to do because I can't play Ada's until I some how get this?

check the statistic under complete % there you can see which chapters you have with which character.

maybe you are missing a chapter from the beginning.

I thought I'd add you don't need 10 kills with the Rocket Launcher.

The last thing I needed was 10 kills with the Ammo Box and the achievement popped up after doing so and having only used the Rocket Launcher 3 times.
