Bizarre debug world?

So I was on the level cosmic wall yesterday playing the level as normal finished it then ended up in a strange debug area. Basically I got a chao key and it did not turn into the chao head it was just the key freaking out in the corner, and instead of ending up in the chao world I ended up here:


was pretty funny though I must admit.

That is the Test Level. SEGA of China apparently didn't port this right.

Anyway, to access the Test Level, finish Mad Space and exit the game during Rouge's boss fight against Knuckles. (I mean, completely exit. Choose Exit game, then quit the game. Load up your save file, fight knuckles, play through cosmic wall, and after it's over you'll be sent to the test level as Eggman instead of the rest of the game if you get the chao key. You can exit out and the game will resume where it was supposed to go when you continue.

I've gotta try this! Interesting bug in their system for that to happen.

Apparently you don't even need to do all that, just finish Cosmic Wall M1 with a Chao key. If it's a later mission then it'll either send you to Chao World or freeze the game.
