Need help with "The Power of Two"
How many tag partners are there??

There are 24 fighters. Starting with the first, you can have 23 partners, the second one has 22 unused, third has 21 new combinations, fourth 20 ... and so on. Just do it that way. You will encounter some duples, but there is no list at the moment for unique tag-throws. Just do both partners in a custom match with lowest hp and 1 round.

Go with kasumi and ryu. Tag throw with kasumi then with ryu. That's 2. Then pick 24 more combos.

I did it in Versus Tag. Do a throw with each of your fighter, then change character. Rinse and repeat until the achievement pop.

Thx, Great list, very helpful. saves a lot of time in guess work.
only took abt 45 min to get the achievement, starting at 0 combinations to get to 50. Took abt 30 matches for me Last edited by C13; 10-08-2012 at 03:30 PM. |

Jann Lee also has one with Rig. They go vice versa.

So I just got this achievement and when I did, it was the CPU / AI that did a special throw and not me (in Arcade mode). So I think that you may just have to see special throws and not actually perform them yourself? My thinking to expedite this achievement, is to have two controllers each with a different combo of fighters from the list above. Then you would get 4 each match instead of just two. Hope this helps / works!

One that is often overlooked is Bayman has one with Hayabusa but it kicks in during Bayman's scissor-hold.
Some pairings have extra tag throws with forward+throw as well, such as Bass and Tina/Bayman/Zack. Give that a try as you go through the pairs.

I think there are a few different tag throws per partner combination. This would explain why some get the achievement before they have played with all possible combos.
I noticed this one popped for me when using Bass and Bayman; I must have done three or four diff ones. They were conditional, like being next to the wall or enviro hazard, landing the throw to their back, etc. Do the tag throws often yourself to explore the possibilities..
