I also use Bing Rewards though I only have one account. The limit for Bing is 64,000 MS Points before those stop working though. Not anywhere near that though.

It's pretty useless in comparison to the Bing rewards program.

When you're logged into your account, go to "My Xtras" > "My Achievements" from the drop down choices on the top bar.

On topic: yeah, this seems lame. I've been Gold for like five years, spent tons of money...it's not like MSPs cost them anything. Give people 1000, and they'll probably buy more so they can purchase a 1200 MSP item.

I think it's great. For all the moaning about M$ they're giving us something back for playing.
You already pay the money anyway, so ANY back is a bonus.
I don't think the idea is to entice people to buy more by offering 2% back, it's for established customers who spend already.

When I heard they were going to reward us for our achievements, I figured they'd use it as a marketing tool. For instance, one of their big titles comes out (say, Halo 4). So, they inform us getting [insert achievement name here] from said game within a certain time period will get us some miniscule MSP reward.

At least, that's how I figured they'd do it. This is better, in my opinion. As a fellow who buys far more from the marketplace than I should, an overarching discount, even one as insignificant as this, will still add up.

Here's hoping it's a popular addition to the program and we see some expansions later-on.

The survey from Live rewards this month mentions rewards and if you think that the programme is worthwhile, which better rewards you would like etc so maybe there is better stuff on the horizon? As I said above the offer just now is better than nothing and I've earned 1460 ms points since the Live rewards started. Good times

This is what I thought at first, because it gets people to play their games. They can advertise them to the achieve whores like this and give them an incentive to go for it. Basically advertising their games as such so more people will tune in and play.

Of course that would mean they'd have the achieve whores eating out of their hands, like they already do.

Isn't it funny how Microsoft are a BILLION dollar company yet they only reward there loyal customers with 20 Microsoft Points and an amazing 2% rebate on our purchases? I love Xbox but come on Sony are so much more generous.

As stated on a previous post the amount you have to spend to get a decent amount would be absolutely ridiculous. I suppose at the same time though its not too bad for such a massive company.
