What is the last minute traitor method?

Well in the achievement guide it says time to 1000g 7-10 hours with the Last Minute Traitor method. Can anyone explain this? thx.

I know this is over a year old, but if you spend your money to upgrade your weapon at the beginning, the merchant won't bother you while you skip through the scenario because you won't have any money. This makes it go a lot faster, plus you don't have to alternate between mashing Start and A.
