I don't think it's closing. Look at the defintion of mainstream support (#3). It's pretty much just warranties, updates, and help. Nothing about servers.

Is there anything specifically saying it's closing? According to the website, Windows XP no longer has support, yet you can obviously still get online using Windows XP.

Windows XP doesn't provide access to the internet, that's done by a third party (or IE) program.

Yes but nothing seems to actually indicate the servers shutting down. Just no more warranties, specialized tech support, those sort of things.

This isn't real. I don't believe it. Like the other guys said, they have servers for halo CE for over 9 years now. Also there will always be player servers, etc. And you can boost achievements still.

well this thread says that it should have already closed and I am just now getting the achievements and there are mathes online so my guess is no they are not closed
