Skyscraper glitched?

So i just beat this dlc and am narrowing down the last few quests. One of my last ones is "Drifter Lifter" where you kill the drifter "Skyscraper" in the sunken sea. I actually killed Skyscraper earlier on before the quest was available without realizing he was a unique enemy. Now when i go back, i can't find him... and I'm wondering if its because i already killed him and he's not respawning or something....

If anyone can clarify this for me I would appreciate it.

Or better yet, if anyone is still on this quest or still has Skyscraper spawn in their game and could invite me, that would be awesome.

Update: I just restarted my xbox and he showed up. Just turned in the quest, problem solved.

Yeah, he must respawn - I've only just been given the quest, but I've already killed him twice without even realising it was a unique character! I thought it must be just another variant of the drifter which appeared now and again.
