Nearly 83 hours. Sold/dismantled all of my equipment after upgrading it to get the gil I needed. Very happy to see the 1000g after it after such a big time investment. Almost didn't go for Treasure Hunter.

I just finished 1k in 68 hours. A LOT of time was wasted figuring out the best way to kill Adamantoises/Shao Long Guis. If anyone is interested, you can start tackling the adamantoises once you max out all 3 of your mains' major crystals. Go with the Eden farm spot and use your summon for a relatively painless kill. Then just pick up one trap and a few ingots, and max out Fang's Taming Pole. Grab a genji glove, and gg. You can beat anything after that. Fang's Highwind attack is pretty overpowered if she's got bravery/deprotect/999% stagger. 1 million+ damage.

Is it bad that it took me (at first) 185hrs to get 1k g? I had 100 hrs on my first file when i realized i sold the elemental resistant rings, and couldnt get them back... Cried myself to sleep that night. Next i made a new file and got treasure hunter (last achievement) in 85hrs, with max party CP.

I started a second account and am having better luck. 50 hrs in, game complete, 79% of missions done. 60hrs in, All achievements but Treasure Hunter, Master Seal, and Adamant Will, and am currently working on everyone's 5th Tier 10 crystarium role and am farming Adamantoise for Traps and Gil and CP.

Easy Farming tip. for lower lvl parties: Eden Plaza, Kill Adamantoise with Summon and fight it like normal, one stagger=dead. Next refill your TP by fighting Soldiers and using the door that causes the loading screen to respawn the Adamantoise. I know its late posting tips, but I DO know people who just got the game/ just beat the final boss within the last month.

I'm at 85 hours and although I don't have the 1000 yet, the end is in sight, I just finished my crystarium and I have every weapon and accessory except for a few...only need two more ultimate weapons, all the Dark Matter upgraded weapons/accessories, a few special mission reward accessories, and the Gilgamesh Store weapons bought and upgraded. Then TH is done, and all I'll have to do is beat/five star all missions and the last boss and the 1000 is finished

106 hours is good compared to my first time, 100 hours and i was still farming gil for compoments @.@ (I had ~2-3mil left to make before finding out i missed TH and had to restart)

i finished this back before there was many guides and stuff. i used the paperback strategy guide and wrote in it when going for the treasure hunter achieve. there was me and like 3-4 friends who helped each other back and fourth. i finished it in 102 hours which i thought was good for it only being out a week or two. now with all the guides and stuff i see people who prepare are doing it in 80 hours or under even.

Took me long to farm the Gil I needed and to farm for traps. Then I also was running around for ages trying to figure out what the heck I was missing from my inventory to get treasure hunter achievo!

I got it at 98 hours, 2 mins. Got really lucky with Traps and Dark Matter in the end which saved a tonne of grinding time

It took me close to 150 hours. I spent a lot of time farming for Gil at the Eden farming spot. I often had a bad run of luck where I only got 3 platinum ingots in an hour. I ended up with a lot of Traps though ... enough for me to sell some of them for cash.

I must of spent 30 hours going back and forth going from the shops to the upgrade screen. Would have been nice if we could have bought more than 99 of any one item.
