Stealth or Slaughter

That makes the game good. It is up to you. I prefer sneaking though, as it fits better the assassin character.

Usually I play stealth in most games, but for this I'm preferring to go "slaughter" (more in Kingdom) as when I'm trying to blend it's too slow and I want to sprint.

Thank fuck for the fast travel so I can avoid Kingdom.

I have tried to do stealth/sneaking when killing the main target's (have 4 left) and it's just not happening, the knife throwing has no effect like the guards (one knife and dead).

Slaughter mostly, Stealth when im in the mood.

I definitely go for slaughter in this game. I love a good stealth game though like "Thief", but trying to be stealthy all the time in this game would just take forever and you can alert the guards for the stupidest things like making someone drop a jar or running into someone. I still loved the game though

Great question! For me, it takes a little bit of both. Nothing like being nothing more than a "blade in the crowd," then turning the corner only to have a crazy person bump you into a guard, cut to twenty swords circling you. Love it!

I'm all about stealth with this game. Slaughter is just too generic for me.

Personally, I mix and match between the two. But for both combat and assassinating, I use the hidden blade, mainly because it is a one-hit kill on any person you fight against, as long as you time it right.

Once you've had your fun fighting 40 people at once and seeing all the different kill animations it's much more fun to play the game in stealth mode.

I think it's fun to stealth kill certain people, but then turn around and kill the rest with no mercy. Otherwise it's just annoying to stealth kill and get noticed...

In the beginning of the game it's fun to go all stealthy , but as the story progresses this gets so hard it becomes annoying! I just stealth kill the first few targets and slaughter the rest.

I don't mind a little bit of Stealth especially when it's those rooftop archers or it's targets that tend to run away, but I tend to get into Slaughter fests more so than not. This tended to happen when playing the sequels too x3

To "assassinate" is to be sneaky, however I love that it's not necessary. So you're free to go either way with it.

I prefer to sneak.

Me too I'm usually up for stealth but I like to fight and slaughter everyone.

I like a combination of the two! Stealth for most of the time, however with the targets I prefer to slaughter everyone.

That's the beauty of the game - every player can decide for himself!

I found it pretty annoying at the ending hours of the game, that when I wanted to move quick from A to B.. suddenly 10 guards appeared around me and I had to spend 3 minutes to kick their butts :/ but it's past time now..

There was nothing more satisfying then performing an air assassination. I'm still tempted to replay it.

But it is the beauty of the game and it doesn't drastically alter the game however you play

I haven't gotten around to playing any Assassin's Creed games yet, now that there is five and the sixth as been announced. I think I should look into playing them. I am going to start with the first game so I can follow the story line and I already know that there are three protagonists in the series but I want to 100% each in turn and learn as I play.

On the slaughter or stealth question, I will probably take it slow and stealth. I like to play stealth in games that allows you and also your playing as an assassin so stealthy should be the way forward.

For me I go around fighting everyone between missions, and then in missions I act like an Assassin should.

i mean it is a stealth game but after a while i just kinda starting killing everyone lol it was a lot quicker
