Also remember to make guarding the objective your primary duty and you will get 75exp just like in the vid. ( thanks to Stoat and Dubnut86 for reminding me about this)

-What I do is set up a 1 vs 1 match on Terminal and make sure I am Security.
-Set a hack box on the mainframe and move behind the glass room.
-The opponent will try to disarm the box because he cant see you.
-Just move closer and away until you are at the point where the % does not move and wait.
-As long as you are hacking it goes into overtime and the match doesn't end.
-If you find the % is still going up or down slowly just adjust your position a small amount.

I had a 20 minute match and made 38000xp


EDIT: Well that's a crappy screen shot. Any help on how to make it bigger?

Nice, thanks for this. I didn't mind the original 1000GS, but after re-renting this game for the free DLC, I realize just how much I hate it. Damn free DLC + OCD.

Thank you, I need 400k XP to reach lv 24 and now I think I could make them without even playing, it's great news!

I'll let you now the max XP I'm able to collect in a single match without touching the pad.

After 1 hour and a half the XP counter reached 99,999 and re-started from 00,000 (the hacking increased only 3%), so I completed the hacking a bit worried but at the end it gave me all my point with bonus: 149,000.

So in a couple of hours I'll be selling this boring game.

i dont understand this. i tried it out but its going to hit 100% and then its over. then im supposed to become a soldier and blow up an objective.
how are people doing this for extended periods of time.
and what do you do about the one bot? he comes to unhack or kill me often. should i let him unhack it then start all over? i will run out of ammo...

When you're about to hit 100%, back away from the objective and the bot will continuously lower the percentage until you move back to your previous spot.

If he starts shooting at you (which is rare if you're not visible), kill him and hide behind the pipe that I mentioned and he should ignore you and start unhacking the objective.

thank you very much McG! when i first tried it the bot refused to unhack it. he always hunted me down. thats why i was confused. even if i stayed out of sight he would unhack for a second, then hunt for me and place a turret and mine. lame bot!

now on my third try i am 90,000xp and climbing! yay!

Worked a treat. I just left it only for like 40mins, and watched TV. The bot didn't move or threaten me at all, so i just found the sweet spot where it barely moved, and waited

I also used this method but I would just go ahead and finish the mission for the completion bonus as well. It doesn't take that much longer to finish so I would just go ahead and do it.

I did this by mistake, I was still going to the reactor and hiding for about 27-30,000 after 30 minutes............. that's the wrong way to boost.

You need to make an objective game and make it friends and invite only.

Switch teams to Resistance if you don't start as that team
Select an Operative Class

I always went after the right vent and it works much better with a character lower tier 2 or under.(level 13 and down)

What you do is you run in and hack the vent, when the AI comes (usually from the top middle the first time) you kill him.

If you stand right behind the hack box with the vent blocking your view from the door, the AI will always come in the room from that side and start to defuse if he doesn't see you. He will lock into the defuse even if he sees you after he starts (happens at level 20 too but the AI can stop defusing after a 1 minute or so if he is looking right at you). kill him and start hacking again.

Do this until the hacker hits 70-75%. After that you continue to hide on the left side of the vent right next to the hack box but about 3 steps back, with your characters body completely hiding from the site of the bot but don't kill him when he locks in.

Again seeing no enemy, the bot will run up to the vent and hack. Even if he sees you after starting he won't stop hacking (at lower levels), but to be safe you should hide to the opposite side of where the bot comes to defuse at. If he is to the left, you're to the right of the vent. And if he is in the middle just hide straight behind the Vent. Basically keep the vent between the you and the AI.

Now this is the important part, you start to back away from the Hacking vent until the percentage in the right goes from yellow to orange/brown. This means the AI is defusing more than you are hacking. It happens around 4 bars of connection or when you see your hack points are at +12 or +13.(At higher levels the AI could have engineer skills that let him defuse faster, so tier 3 players might have to sit closer)

Once you are in a sweet spot of inching forward and backwards in this range, make sure you leave it just in the orange range. This will likely freeze the counter or worse case it will take the bot hours to defuse from 95%. After that you just walk away, go to sleep, change your car oil......what ever.

Because if you get this right the game will go into Overtime and keep going, after 120 minutes you should have about 170,000 exp if you stop hacking and let the bot defuse. Never Quit.

These are all projections because I was done with the game after 1 hour.

If you left for 2 hours it you should have 240,000 and a 15% bonus 3600.
3 hours would be 360,000 bonus 54,000.
4 hours would be 480,000 bonus 72,000.
So in 3 1/2 to 4 hours, you can go from level 1 to 24.

Sidenote: for level 13 and higher tier 3 plus players, the computer will be more aggressive because he has more skill/skills. The engineer will be much more likely to stop his hack to look for you if you are too close or to put down a turret or mine.

Level 20 players should check after 30 minutes to a hour to see if they are dead on the ground. You can get it to where he will leave you alone depending on the AI they set for that match, but things can go wrong with the super aggressive Bot.

He usually has the ability to shoot after you down him. Watch out for that bot if you are level 20 or higher.

Just in case anyone still needs to level up, use this method. Find a good spot so the counter is increasing very slowly, and just wait. I left for 1.5 hours, and when I came back I was at 97%. Then I moved back so it was decreasing while I was getting points. When it went back down to 75%, I moved back up and finished that objective without killing the enemy. I then rushed through to the end, and when all was done I had gotten over 300k exp. Best method by far.
