Is Endure really that tough?

The achievement is not that hard at all. Like many people said, its finding 3 players willing to sit for 2 hours and that have a good connection. My friends and I tried going for the achievement about 5 times, because one of my friends kept lagging out at the last wave of the 4 set.

As many other people have suggested, the hard part of Endure is staying around for the ~2 hours required for it. I've been invited to get Endure on multiple occasions and have not been able to stick around long enough to do it - too many other things to do.

connection is a n issue, sin im rocking 8-9meg connection i was hosting. But the big issue is to take care don't go rushing in esoecially later on. it tok my and my friends 2 tries becasue we got too cocky on ou first try. ended up with 0 lives at the end little ammo and 2 chieftens with fuel rod guns! i recommend doing it on Alpha sire (indoors) 2 people either side the enemies will only come from 2 directions and they will be covered by 2 players. most of all i recommend doing this with friends as opposed to strangers.

I just tried the Endure achievement for the first time - it was a bit tough. We got to the last wave, but only with 4 lives, so we didn't make it. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes ...

Endure is really difficult if you DON'T have people that are good at Halo. Lost the achievement 2 times because of bad players.

when I found 3 people to do it it was the best thing I had ever done at the end we had 36 lives.

It's not hard really, it's just time consuming.

It's not hard, I've probably over 50 times, just from helping people try to get it.

I did it with my two deaf friends and a guy from Australia.

Me- Pennsylvania
2nd Friend- Missouri
3rd Friend- Wisconsin
4th Friend- Australia

Let me tell you this, I didn't think we would make it before we start this because how far apart we are especially this guy from Australia that it would disconnected us in anytime. It didn't. We made it and got endure achievement. BUT it was laggy as hell in the whole firefight, maybe 10-15 seconds lag, it was annoying but we got used to it.

Now, Im on my new GT and will start on Endure again. Love ODST!

When i got it it wasn't that it was hard but near the ended one of our teammates gave us horrible, I mean some of the worst I've seen, and we had to play like that for half hour till we got it.

After two attempts lagging out we finally got to set 4 to die on the last wave on the final round! Gutted!

Wait to go, reviving old threads. To be honest, when I was going for this, I was more concerned about someone or myself lagging out. Luckily, we got it first try. It really isn't that bad, difficulty wise, overrated achievement, in my opinion.

It can be a pain in the ass and takes a while but with the right team it aint that difficult

I did it on my first try and we had over 30 lives left after we finished. Overall, it's pretty easy as long as you and your team mates work together. Never rush and make sure you team up to assassinate the hammer brutes. Had to do the last half of it with one guy in the corner.

I remember getting it, the team I had got it on the first shot and the kicker was it was my first attempt at it so I thought it was really easy. As long as your team is adequate at ODST's style of combat it is easy. Although I will no longer help anyone with it because every other attempt I have tried to help others someone either lags out or just quits. That is really the only thing you have to look out with doing this with randoms.

I did endure on lost platoon and my entire team jacked brute choppers and we just camped out in the open away from the high ridge where a wraith gets dropped off at. One wraith drops off where we camp but we disposed of it quickly. Very easy achievement just time consuming. took us 1h 45min

Doing it is not that difficult at all. Getting 3 people to be available for the 2-3 hours it takes to complete, and not have yourself or any of them experience any lag the entire time... that's difficult.

I would have endure but we were on Set 4, Round 3, Wave 3 (about 5-10 minutes off) and some random person joined our XBL party. Kinda our fault we didn't set it to invite only or use game chat. Anyways, the instant they joined we all froze and lagged back out to the lobby but were still together.

I agree, I've tried getting Endure at least 6 different times. We'd be almost done and then someone would disconnect and there was 2 hours wasted I haven't tried again in a really long time, mainly because I haven't had 2 - 3 hours of free time to try to tackle the achievement.
