Portal/Half-life (Aperature/Black Mesa)

Read these articles from the Half-Life Wikia. It's really cool how the stories of Portal and Half-Life intertwine. Those who have played the games know that they both have a research facility (Aperture Science for Portal and Black Mesa for Half-Life), not everybody knows that they are rival facilities. These (slightly long but) very interesting articles tell you all about it. It's really cool.

The rumor was (it might have been confirmed by Valve but I can't remember) that while Portal 2 was still in development that one of the endings that was being considered would have had the Gman showing up, with Wheatley or GlaDOS telling you that there's 'a man with a briefcase waiting for you.' What could have been...
