Easy 2-controller method for Innate Guerilla Warfare

Go to arcade mode, activate 2nd controller (no need for an alt as player 2 can't earn achievements), and have player 1 die at beginning of stage 1 without killing anyone. Use player 2 on 2nd controller and play through until the last form of the last boss. Make sure player 2 has at least 1 extra life at 3rd form - if you're on your last life just die and try again. Assuming you make it and have a spare life, have player 1 steal a life by pressing the 'A' button, then get the kill. Player 1 has to get to the chopper 1st, though if you do this alone like I did, player 2 will likely be dead anyway.

I've read about this method working online via co-op, but this is a solo method that works. I doubt many online players are willing to do all the work for others.

Remember that if you have to continue, player 1 must die without getting any kills. This guarantees you'll be under 50 kills. And if you can't beat arcade mode yet, keep playing in any mode until your clock hits approximately 20 hours - you then have 573 continues in all modes from now on!

ok haven't thought about that. good idea for those who don't have a decent coop partner or are less skillful to beat it solo

Can you get the one without picking up any extra weapons via this method aswell? And the strongest warrior (clear all levels)? Would save alot of pain if so

I think you might get those too if not already. I read over at gamefaqs.com that by doing this online you could get up to 4 achievements. In local you won't get the co-op achievement, but I do believe the weapon-free one and beating arcade (if you haven't yet) should work. Just remember that player 1 must die, and before you have player 2 activated it will say that player won't unlock achs.

I have two things to disprove after trusting the mis-information in this thread:

-You cannot combine "The definition of a Warrior" (no weapon clear) with this method for "Innate Geurrillla Warfare". If either player picks up a weapon, achievements negated. Local 2P counts as the 1P system player.

-You absolutely cannot get the 573 continues by leaving it on for 20 hours.
You've got to get it by dieing. Get it done quick with Leviathan.

You have to respawn player 1 before the final boss finished to explode
