Credit: McDurbin Semp Pi Overview: -Estimated achievement difficulty: 3/10 -Offline: 38/38 -Online: 0/38 -Approximate amount of time to 1000: 6-8 Hours -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2 -Number of missable achievements: None (Chapter Select) -Do cheat codes disable achievements? No Cheats -Does difficulty affect achievements? Yes. Elite Agent is unlocked after completing the game on Agent. -Glitchy achievements: None -Unobtainable achievements: None -Extra equipment needed?: Yes, two controllers are needed to complete the V.R missions. Introduction: Men In Black: Alien Crisis is based off of the popular film Men In Black, and is another one of those easy to complete movie games. Two playthroughs are needed as you will unlock the Elite Agent difficulty upon completion of Agent. Make sure you have access to two controllers in order to complete the competitive V.R missions located in split-screen. The game's story mode consists of eight chapters that can easily be completed in around 3 hours. Step 1: Playing Through The Game Play through the game and unlock as many achievements as you can. You will need to complete the game on Agent in order to unlock the Elite Agent difficulty. If you focus on getting the kills with specific weapons then you will come out to around 780G on your first playthrough. Completing the story will take no more than 3 1/2 hours and is extremely easy. Try to upgrade your weapons and attachments as much as possible to give you an advantage when playing on Elite Agent. Step 2: Elite Agent Playthrough You will need to first change the difficulty to Elite Agent by entering the "Extras" located in the Main Menu. Extras > Change Difficulty > Elite Agent. Go into Chapter Select and start completing the missions. You may not even notice the increase of diffculty from your Agent playthrough since it's just as easy, and will probably only find certain boss battles to be a little more difficult then the first time playing. All of your upgrades will carry over from your Agent playthrough so I you shouldn't have a problem with making it through the missions. Step 3: Competitive V.R Missions + Mop Up After completing the game you will need to finish off the competitive V.R missions. There will be 12 missions that you will need to complete for the achievement. All of your upgrades will be carried over from your other two playthroughs so I suggest finishing these last. You will need access to two controllers in order to beat these, but you will not need any other assistance from a friend. The second player will follow you throughout the missions so it shouldn't be a problem. Make sure you take a look at the "Duelist" and "Conqueror" achievements listed in the guide. Use Chapter Select to clean up any other achievements that you have missed during your first two playthroughs. If you have taken a good look in the guide then you shouldn't have a problem cleaning them up. Conclusion Men In Black: Alien Crisis is another one of those quick and easy 1000 Last edited by Rep; 03-22-2013 at 07:31 PM. |

The achievement will unlock during the credits. Senior Agent 60 ![]() Completed Story Mode as an Elite Agent - Elite Agent is unlocked after completing the game on Agent. From the Main Menu, Extras > Change Difficulty > Elite Agent. Make sure you do NOT start a new save; continue the game by using Chapter Select. This will allow you to keep all of your upgraded weapons and attachments for the playthrough. You shouldn't run into any problems with your Elite Agent playthrough except for a few deaths from some of the bosses. The Elite Guards and bosses may be a pain in the ass sometimes but you shouldn't have a problem as long as you make good use of your attachments. Elite Agent Tips:

Use the to fire the rocket at the enemies. This should be no problem as you will have lots of chances throughout the game to fire the rocket launcher. Juggernaut 20 ![]() Used the Refracto Shield to reflect 100 enemy projectiles (P1) - Block 100 enemy projectiles with the Refracto Shield by holding . The Refracto Shield attachment is mapped to the when holding to change your attachments. You will unlock this very early in the game if you use your Refracto Shield a lot. Hold and the d-pad to select your attachments. Shattered Expectations 30 ![]() Froze 30 enemies with the Icer (P1) - This attachment is unlocked very early in the game and is mapped on the d-pad. Duelist 30 ![]() Completed all the Competitive maps in V.R. Missions (P1) - In order to unlock this achievement you will need to complete 12 competitive V.R missions in 2 player split-screen. You do NOT have to have a buddy with you in order to unlock this as the second player will follow you throughout the level. You will keep all of your upgraded attachments and guns from the story so it's best to save these missions for last. These missions are extremely easy and should take no more than an hour to complete all of them. List of the 12 Competitive V.R Missions:
The menu will make it seem that you are playing the same map twice, so try not to get fooled by the map photos. Each map contains two different missions that you will need to complete. Use the list above to check off which maps that you have already completed. Conqueror 25 ![]() Achieved at least 300,000 points in one V.R. Mission (P1) - Scoring 300,000+ points is not hard at all as you will more than likely achieve well over 1 million in a mission. Just rapidly kill as many aliens you can while performing combos and you should have no problem. An easy way to gain a lot of points is by performing the "Caught" combo. First equip the Anti-Gravity Grenade by holding and pressing on the d-pad, then fire a grenade into a group of enemies by pressing . Spray the aliens down as fast as you can to achieve higher multipliers and more points. Check out this helpful guide by VGMMDI here: Superstar 30 ![]() Achieved at least 200,000 points in one V.R. Mission (P1) - See "Conqueror". Superior Fighter 25 ![]() Achieved at least 150,000 points in one V.R. Mission (P1) - See "Conqueror". Enjoy the Ride 20 ![]() Started playing in Story Mode - Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocked after starting the game for the first time. Flying Car? Where? 20 ![]() Didn't get detected while flying the car - Story related, cannot be missed. Take notice of the bar at the bottom left of the screen and make sure it does not rise up so people notice you. Pass through the Alien Checkpoints to keep the bar down. Check out this useful guide by VGMMDI here: The Spice of Life 20 ![]() Defeated enemies using 10 different combos (P1) - You will more than likely unlock this midway through the game. There are lots of different combos in the game that you will achieve just by rapidly killing enemies and using different attachments. Just keep progressing through the game and you will unlock it soon enough. Hide’n’Seek 10 ![]() Scanned 2 hidden aliens in Story Mode *If you do not feel like finding the second alien or going back through Chapter Select, you can scan one alien, restart checkpoint, then go back and scan him again for the achievement.* - In order to unlock this achievement you will need to scan the two aliens that are hiding inside human bodies. Click and hover over the human/object to scan. The first alien is near the end of Chapter 4 when you are leaving the muesum. Once you come outside you will spot several aliens and humans out on the street. The alien that is hiding inside the human body is to the left behind the police car.The second alien that you will need to scan is located at the end of Chapter 7. As soon as you are finished with the flying section, you will come to some stairs leading down to the fountain. There will be several aliens and humans on the stairs. The alien that is hiding is at the bottom left of the stairs. You can use chapter select if you miss out on the achievement in your first run of the game. Check out this useful guide by VGMMDI here: This Won't Take Long 20 ![]() Defeated the Nakkadan Elite Guard in Story Mode - Story related, cannot be missed. You will be fighting the guard at the beginning of Chapter 7. Last edited by Rep; 01-29-2013 at 05:54 AM. |

Party Crasher 20 ![]() Crashed Chauncey's party in Story Mode - Story related, cannot be missed. High Score 20 ![]() Successfully finished the Virtual Reality training program in Story Mode - Story related, cannot be missed. Kicking and Screaming20 ![]() Escaped Serleena's drag attack - Story related, cannot be missed. You will have the chance to fight Serleena at the end of Chapter 2. Near the end of the fight, Serleena will grab you with her tentacles to attempt to eat you. Just shoot one of the four yellow petals on her face to get out of her grasp. Smile for the Camera! 20 ![]() Neuralized 7 humans in Story Mode - In order to neuralize a human you must first capture them with your Bubble Attachment by holding down while the reticle is on them. You can equip the Bubble Takedown Attachment by holding and clicking on the D-Pad. You get the chance to neuralize the captured humans at the end of each chapter. Capture and neuralize seven humans and the achievement is yours. Brute Force 20 ![]() Achieved a 25x multiplier in Story Mode - Your multiplier is displayed on the top right of your HUD. An easy spot to gain a 25x multiplier is on Chapter 2 when you are fighting Serleena. You will be able to get a 25x+ multiplier as long as you avoid shooting the yellow petals on her. The achievement will unlock after finishing her off. There will be plenty of chances later on in the game so don't stress if you miss unlocking it here. Check out this useful guide by VGMMDI here: Group Off 20 ![]() Destroyed 3 enemy platforms in Story Mode - The platforms are the enemy ships which usually contain three or more enemies on them. You will be able to shoot these down during any of the flying sequences. Take them down with a rocket by using . You shouldn't have any problem unlocking this as you will destroy at least 5 or so platforms during your first playthrough. Own the Road 20 ![]() Defeated 70 Bikers in Story Mode - You will defeat hundreds of bikers during your first playthrough so you shouldn't have a problem unlocking this. Road Hog 20 ![]() Defeated 40 bikers in Story Mode - See "Own the Road". Dodge and Weave 20 ![]() Dodged the mines placed by Nethera in Story Mode - This is probably the most difficult achievement in the game. During the flying sequence in Chapter 7 Nethera will be laying down mines that you will need to avoid. As you are chasing her she will set down 3 sets of electric mines. If you think that you may have hit a mine then restart the section. Take notice of your multiplier on the top-right of your screen. If it turns red then you have been hit by a mine.
*If you think you didn't get hit by a mine but didn't get the achievement - Dashboard while you're still in the car and copy your save to a USB. Doing this will allow you to retry the flying sequence without having to restart the entire level over again.* Check out this useful guide by VGMMDI here: Ugly on the Inside 20 ![]() Defeated the Adorian Elite Guard in Story Mode - Story related, cannot be missed.

Got 1000GS in 2 days! Very easy, I would agree 6-8 hours to complete!
I found very little difference in Elite Agent and Agent, only 3 main differences; 1- Aliens generally take a bit longer to kill, but since you will have upgraded weapons this time round it will easier at the beginning. 2- Nakkadan Elite Guard is slightly harder as he breaks into 4 instead of 3, so regenerates more health. 3- Last boss takes longer and will attack more often/harder. Regarding avoiding the mines, I thought I had done it but somehow I must of touched it so just be sure you have avoided them all or restart, or else you must play the whole chapter again! Good guide, helped me a lot!

The game started off pretty fun but got very boring real quick. The game is on rails so it gets repetitive after awhile. The graphics are terrible, but then again, it is a movie game so you wouldn't expect anything great. It's definitely worth the rent for an easy 1000G, but I would not pay over $30 for this.

Thanks for the guide!
One thing I suggest it to order the achievements in your guide in the order in which they can be obtained instead of all mixed up. That way people can just scroll down and make sure they get each achievement on the first try and don't need to go through chapter select.

I would order them that way, but the website's guide rules states that it must be in the order of them listed on the website in order to submit it.

Really? That makes no sense at all. I mean this is an achievement site so it should be the other way around that it has to be in the order in which you can obtain them.

You may want to add this to your guide,
For the Dodge and Weave achievement, if you thought you didn't get hit by a mine but didn't get the achievement and don't feel like replaying chapter 7 to get back to that point you can do the following. Simple go to the dashboard once your in the car and copy your save to a USB storage device then try to get the achievement. If you don't get it then go back to the dashboard and copy the save from your usb device back to your hard drive and try again. It worked for me.

Not to be a bother but you worded that bit in red wrong. It should say if you think you didn't get hit by a mine but didn't get the achievement then do what I posted above about copying the save before you attempt it.

To say this was a terribly made game is putting it mildly. Either way.. it's done.
Yet another tip for the final boss, and even on Elite Agent, I used the gun that is 'left' on the D-Pad (i forget the name) but when fully upgraded it has a burst shot.. This whittles her health down much faster than anything else. When she would spawn babies, switch to the Tri-Barrel and blast the hell out of them. I've seen a lot of people use Slow-mo for this, I personally used the shield to bounce her laser attacks back at her. And for when she charges, make sure you are moving in 1 direction, but behind the cover that is offered and she will jab her tail into the ground.. basically her tail gets stuck on the 'cover'. If it doesn't, she will continually slam her tail on the ground. It is frustrating as hell since this is a fairly long fight and there are no checkpoints. Just keep at it. |
