Hi everyone,
is anyone here going for the trail blazer achievement? it is pretty insane but I think I will give it a go in the long run. Anyone else in? |

I'm going to try for it, once I've got all the other achievements I'll try to do a bit a day, it might take a few years but I'll get there in the end.

Yes Joel I will try to do a bit at a time too. It is going to be a time consuming achievement but we will be burning a lot of calories doing it.
Should be fun. |

I am going for it, though I am gonna do biking first. Even more after I read from other thread that I don't have to actually run. (walk toward kinect and then away, repeat).

Hi Zalexzy, I will be doing the biking one as well but I prefer to do both at the same time to keep some kind of variety in my workout. I built a custom workout called Run-Bike where I only do trail sprint and biking one after the other. I love the mix of achievements and fitness. |

I picked this game up last week and was pondering whether or not to use it on this gamertag because I want my 100% score.
Decided to go for it anyway. I did a trial workout on another account and the excercises are a lot more fun and varied than the ones in yourshape. Will be a great 100%... a year from now

It will be a good completition if you can do it, I know of only 1 person that has so far. I haven't done much for a while, might need to get stuck back into it.

Congrats, Joel!!!
I've been getting into some other fitness games, but I really need to finish off this last running achievement for the completion.

Thanks mate. It's a pretty stupid achievement really, if I wanted to run 1000km I would go outside and actually do it rather than run on the spot for 65 hours.
But I like to get as many achievements in my games as I can, so I did it

I bought the zoom gadget for the kinect which allows the sensor to work at a closer distance. This allows me to set-up my sensor infront and just to the side of the front of my treadmill so I can run normally and the game sees me running. Yesterday I ran for 30 minutes and the game recorded it as 4.5 miles of running so roughly 7K. I usually run about 30-60 minutes per day on the treadmill so it's going to take about 100 runs to get this done. It's way better than running on the spot.
Fitness trail - Outrun on hard is better because the trail goes further. |
