Should I buy original version or DX?

I'm debating buying one of the PacMan: CE games and wanted some input on which to pick up. I will likely not buy both as they don't seem different enough, but any thoughts or opinions from you who might have played both would be much appreciated.

They are actually quite different.

The best way I can describe the experiences is difficulty (CE) vs fun (DX). That's not to say that CE isn't fun, but DX just takes it to another level imo. CE is quite the challenge and offers a more traditional Pac-man experience, while DX gameplay takes the planning out of the equation and guides you a little more, challenging your reactions more than anything. I haven't tried the demos but as radical as the differences are, they'll probably show you just how drastic the gameplay is between the two.

However, ultimately I'd recommend buying DX, reason being that there is an Arcade Compilation disc available that has CE on it, which is a better value than buying it from the Marketplace.

DX is much easier for the full 200. If you are buying only one of them, definitely DX.

i've had original with the xbox arcade disc i bought and then bought the DX, honestly they're both fun and addictive, the DX is more mainstream, if you want a real challenge, go original, but DX is also very fun they're both pac-man in the end!
the only thing i enjoyed with original was the feeling of accomplishment with the last cheevos
