IDK if this has already been said, but why not state it.

To get this achivement, you must stay on the platform that had you "prees and hold" to open the door. You can not go off the platform, or you'll negate the achivement.

This happened to me, and while it was easy to go back and get, it made me feel a bit sad and I didn't notice it til' my Zealot runthrough.

Figured this would help!

force gun camp the sides between the computers and they won't get you its just so easier its laughable.

Although I got this achievement using the Force Gun. It was even more laughable with the Hand Cannon when I was doing my speed run.

i did it on zealot for the achievement with that as well, i did let my guard down once or twice and a leaper thing managed to jump me, but nothing i couldn't handle.

I didn't realise this, and missed it, as I must have stepped off the platform. It's not in the achievement guide, so thanks for pointing out, now I know what I did wrong.

It is in the achievement guide with a video included. Several posts down in this forum you will see Severed Achievement Guide.
