Did they ever fix the reset issue?

I was wondering if they ever fixed the issue with the game resetting itself? Its been awhile since i played the game but felt like having some fun with it today and my stats were reset again The first time this happen I had so much progress, i beat all the light world levels and most of the dark world levels, plus I was going for all A+ and the majority of the levels were getting there.

After I got reset then i started playing just casually, wasnt too far in but now i am reset again.

So again did they fix the issue cause i did update for the game, but I was curious if i was reset from last time playing. Mainly cause i dont want to start up playing again if i am gonna get reset.

what spawns this?

I have no clue if its fix because it hasn't happened to me, I've beat all the light world about 1/3 of the dark world and most of the light world cotton alley.
