Extra Credit Glitch

My husband and I originally download this game as a trial, and earned our first extra credit star from the trial. My husband has now earned all of his extra credit stars, but the achievement for the earn 1 extra credit star will not pop. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The only thing I can suggest is to delete and re-download the game and try for it again.
