Update 1.03
Did anyone else's play style change because of patch 1.03? I just popped this game back in out of boredom and playing a couple matches online, I realized I couldn't pull off as many combos as I could before. The patch definitely killed some links in some combos of Tager. It saddens me. Oh well.
Just wondering if anyone else's character changed. I've only played with Tager and it was only today. I just realized the change a few minutes ago.

I play Carl, and I haven't really noticed any difference between the patches.
My play style changed between Blazblu CT and Blazblue CS, but that is really because I got the new moves. |

Well, as a Tsubaki user, a lot has changed. Most notably, her 22D no longer does a wall-bounce from full screen. Her grab throws opponents across the screen instead of leaving them in a crumpled state. Her 3CC can no longer be jump-cancelled unless you rapid out of it. 214A, B, and C no longer launch an opponent into the air, (unless it is from a counter-hit). Well, that's all coming from the top of my head, but to put it into a simple answer, yes, my play style has changed, simply because she is better now and I can actually stand a chance against the majority of the cast, (except against frickin' Hazama lol). Also, she's a beast if she catches you in the corner. Her normals are so much better now, and doing combos is so much simpler, and, as a result, it has made me more aggressive and slightly more focused on rush-down.
Also, Ragna got quite a few changes as well, most notably, his C Inferno Divider follow-up punch will only do a wall-bounce if done in the corner, so doing some combos with him is a bit trickier now. |

Tager's front grab now launches the opponent to the other side. TT-TT I can't punish anymore.

The 1.03 patch converts the combo system from Continuum Shift to Continuum Shift II (to clone the release of the portable versions). I never found a complete list of changes, and most BNB combos are unchanged but there is a thread for people complaining about it -> http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/988982-/59083353
