Ark Mission

Do you get anything for beating the Ark? I beat it and it just asked me if I wanted to exit the mission. The mini-bosses gave nice rewards but it seems lame that the final boss had nothing to give.

How do people get Legendary sentients?

The same thing happened to me when I beat the final boss in the Ark, but I've only done it once so I don't know if it's always that way or not. I'll try beating it again later today to make sure.

As far as I'm aware, the rarer sentients come from fusion: Sentient on the Windows Phone 7. I have not located anywhere that gives the player access to them in Genesis.

Aw man that is so lame. How are they transfered? I assume that there is no way for WP7 users to send them to 360 users.

Yep, WP7 people can sell them in the auction house that 360 people have access to. In any port you can go to sentient auctions, sort by legendary, and do some bidding.

You can get legendary sentients from the Atk raid. They drop from the second boss, the Librarian. I've gotten two epics - a healer and tank and a few friends have gotten Legendaries. Just keep doing the first two bosses.

Make sure after destroying the Ark and before exiting the mission that you fly your ship over the center of where the Ark was. I found that the Ark dropped a pretty nice 50% reduction in Supershield cost right smack in the center of where he used to be.

Each of the Ark bosses yields upgrades that can be 20%, 30%, or even 50% boosts. They can drop bonus weapons, and in the case of the Librarian boss as mentioned earlier, can yield rare sentients provided you have 4 or less sentients and 14 or less weapons/sentients. The final battle against the large sentient yields the most Ark Raid points, will drop an upgrade or weapon (which you'll have to fly near and/or choose not to exit the mission right away so that it can be picked up. And finally will reward you with parts of a whole prismatic crystal just like the Legion Raid missions which, when a whole one has been created and fed to a sentient (no more than 1 complete one is necessary) will reset all base and faction skill point assignment, thus allowing you to re-distribute points to skills in a more satisfactory manner.
