S Rankings and Achievements

Hi I was wondering, do the achievements/medals where you have to get S rankings, not get shot down, etc. do they all have to be done on Campaign or can they be done on Free Mission?

S ranks can be in done in Free Mission on the needed difficulty, that's how I did them. The other medals, like not taking damage and such or completing the game with only Attackers, Fighters, etc, have to be done in Campaign, but SP New Game works, so do that one (SP New Game lets you keep all your planes and other unlocks).
