Should I play on Contractor on the same save slot as my normal run-through?

I just recently finished my normal run-through and just wanted to know if I should select chapter 1 and start it on contractor through chapter select on my normal save slot, or start a new one.

You cannot use chapter select if you want the 'complete the game on Contractor difficulty' achievement, you need to start it from new game, same save slot are ok.
