How is it possible for a friend to get 53 stars in Echo without DLC?

One of my friends has a total score of 163k with 53 stars but no individual map scores show in the echo score screen and he has 53 stars. How is this possible when he doesn't have the DLC?

14 maps x 3 = 42??

May be he play on a console with the dlc!?

If he bought it new, then he got 6 extra maps. 20 x 3 = 60
