Do difficulty achievements stack?

If I do Normal first and then Nightmare difficulty, will I get the Hard difficulty one when finishing the Nightmare playthrough?

i believe so

i have finished Normal myself and have 1 chapter to do on Nightmare..i am hoping Hard Achievement unlocks also

Yeah, they stack.

I done my first playthrough on "Hard", which I think is technically normal since there's no easy, and got both when I finished.

Started Nightmare a little earlier, almost halfway through now, should have 1k by tomorrow night

yes thay do ive just dun the nightmare mode and it gave me hard as well

I'm glad they stack, most achievements from other games do that which makes sense.

Good to know that the achievements stack...I'm playing it on normal and i really do'nt want to play it 3 times do get all of the achievements...
