This was really useful, thank you. I had no idea about the Prestige Shop. Obviouslly after first prestige, the first thing you buy are the unlocks. I think I'll get the custom classes until then.

I don't really get what regular package is tho...

Just have a quick question and thought Id post it in here rather than starting a new thread:

Is there a UAV jammer perk/unlock in the game? Also is there the scrambler perk too? Much appreciate your help!

There is a UAV Jammer equivalent perk. It's called Assassin and is a tier 2 perk. However, there is no scrambler perk anymore.

Phew, seems to be a constant UAV on every game mode I play so supressor and UAV jammer it is for me when I play later :P. Thanks for helping

Also, made some minor updates to the FAQ. I made the questions up-to-date, replacing things like "will x be in the game" to "is x in the game?" now that the game is released.

There will be 20 "pieces" of DLC. We don't really know what they'll be, but it is generally assumed to be map packs, spec ops missions, maybe even campaign missions, and perhaps Titles/Emblems.

Are there prestige challenges in this game? I was looking at the title/emblem list and couldn't really tell. I'm debating whether to prestige or not, and if it's like MW2 where there are prestige challenges that you unlock after prestiging for the first time, then I'll do it once just to unlock the challenges. Otherwise, probably not since I don't play this game that often.

If anybody out there had any idea how long it takes for the prestige shop to
Recognize that I've prestiged in a previous game and give me a token? I know
The FAQ states there's no deadline so I guess I'm not too late. Thanks for the help.

I think you would of had to perstige before the game came out. Think you are going to be out of luck.

So they're releasing the dlc over 9 months up until sept 2012?
Does the first dlc arrive in january?

During one of the challenges its says "unlock maximum proficiency with this weapon". What exactly does this mean? I always get it but have no idea what it is. thank you

Simply means that you've unlocked all the weapon proficiencies for the weapon.

Apologies if this has been asked before but my semi-intensive search yielded zilch... At start, i didnt know you can disable the 'theatre mode' so it piled up a bunch of clips which i'd like to 'delete'. Is there a way you can delete 'em? I can't seem to figure out how to go about it.

They get saved on your hard drive, I guess deleting them from that should work.

I started playing spec ops with my brother on his console. after a few days I've gotten to the lvl of 32. Now I wanted to continue on my own console but it seems the lvl didn't carry over, but it did register to which wave we have gotten etc.
so my question is, is there any way to carry over my lvl progression or do I need to start all over? thnx in advance for any awnsers

When does a loss count when you join a game really late? To clarify: I'm often joining games during the final killcam (on the losing team of course) or on the results scoreboard. I'm never sure if it's counted as a loss. So how close to the end of a game will it stop counting as a loss? Cheers

Nope, mainly because the last prestige is 20 now. :P After 20, you get nothing.

Unfortunately, it counts the loss. At least, it always has for me.
