#1 Nom - November 2011. Which levels aren't yet "maxed out"

Ok, so im new on this site cuz I'm on PS3 playing LP2
I recently got this game and thought "Why not share some info "cross consoling"?"

Idea for this thread is dead simple. I just need someone to post #1-times for every Training-mission (XBox) and ill just do a list listing every mission describing which console has NOT the best time yet, and how much more would be possible. There are still some Missions with kinda huge differences in #1-times.

If u pm me or reply in here posting a list of all 50 Missions, ill update this post.

c'mon guys - there are really sick times cracked on PS3 lately ... 2 Missions were beat by ~5! seconds!

and i dont think these and the other (at least 25 advanced) missions reached their limit.

i dont mind if so1 posts just 1, 5 or 25 times, ill update first post within a few hrs so you can see if and how much time there might be left to go for!

Unfortunately, just knowing if the times are beatable isn't enough. Without knowing the correct method for the relevant stage you may not even come close to the number 1 position. Currently, my best rank out of all the training stages is 17th. One other thing that annoys me is while looking around various forums for ways to get this nom, I'd see it described as "NUMBER 1 - Achieve 1st place on any country's ranking screen". I'm 1st place in my country in at least two of the training stages, and yet still no nom

I have this nom and you actually have to be number 1 OVERALL no matter what country to get the achievement

keep in mind that the description you are using "achieve number 1 on any country leaderboard" is not the correct description...there are no country leaderboards that was a mistake by the person who made the guide

obv its not enough, but your getting much closer, as u dont see 50 mission, u can pick a few knowing there is (much) space left

+ im open for crossconsoling finding ways for each other - if you message me your willing to try a specific mission, i can pm that guy asking for assistance - telling him right away that im not interested in PS3 leaderboards, so his record is "save".
many ppl cooperate that way though.

I just got the NUMBER 1 nom in basic 4-2, following this video:

It only took about two hours of trying, failing and practicing until I beat the record by only half a second. This is good news for everyone else, since you can be up to 5 seconds slower than the linked video and still get #1.

The time for basic 4 - 2 is now 2'10"812

Still very possible following the vid as a reference, but just slightly harder now. I will attempt that one in a few weeks once classes are over if that time hasn't been beaten again.

Yeah, thats my time on 4-2. I saw this thread and started doing 4-2 and after 2 hours I got it. Its still really not that hard. I choked trying to get in the Ospray so you can still mess up a bit and still get it.

Any particular part in that guys video that is really hard to replicate? Never played LP2 before, but I feel this is my best shot for the leaderboard Nom since there is a vid for reference. Also congrats on the time.

ya there is one part -
right after he leaves his first "vehicle" and jumps up the wall - if u dont get it right u will have an extra jump which costs you about 2sec
still its your best shot at it, yap

btw: big thx to MarkusPP - very nice job getting your nom pretty much right after u posted xbox times. today it was my turn on PS3 to crack advanced 2-3 (by 0.5s so buddy of mine can still get it too).

Its just 1 sec. but if you stick to it you might get at least 26.x seconds

Finally!!! I did it! after some days training i beat the WR today, in the Advanced 2-3, and yes, i followed the guide video up here. The picture:




Thank you for posting the records in both versions, i focused in the 2-3 and voila! IM HAPPY. Now i can continue with the others noms de guerre.

Sadly I took the WR on this one only moments ago (2-3), but I took it by more then I wanted to, as I was trying to keep it above 26". unfortunately the new time is now 25"967. Thanks for posting the videos and the times, they were a huge help. Good luck to all going for this stupid Nom, and happy gaming everyone!
