Can online achievements be obtained with system link?!

Recently ive been told my a coule guys that this games online achievements can be obtained with two xboxs, 2 discs, and systemlink, since the servers are shut down. If this is true could someone clarify how it works and how to do it?

No.

1) The achievements specifically require Ranked matches. Ranked in any game is always through online servers.

2) Versus mode cannot be done in system link anyways.
