How do you smack a bomb!?!

Are the bombs those glowy bugs that always damage me in Jungle? They can't be smacked, and when I hit them they always explode and damage me. Are these bombs, and how do I kill them without damage?

Stand near it, hold down, and attack with your sword. It should go flying.

No, those are Kamikaziers. If you read my guide, you'd know by the description that they come from dispensers on the ceiling, in most cases.

Easiest in Underground River. There will be two sections in the beginning of the level where bombs are dispensed from the ceiling as a few spiders are around. Lure two spiders toward a bomb you hit (I recommend uppercut to keep it in place) and let it blow up. Must be done by one player without assistance if playing in coop.

NO. Those are not the boms. they will get you another achievement i cant remember the name of..
the bombs will come later on.. an hr/45mins into the game..
these look like blinking yellow spitballs (for lack of a better term)
when u get near one on the ground do the uppercut (up + X)
this relaunches it into the air and then when they descend (X) to smack them like a baseball into enemies, structures
at some places you can even destroy the bomb producing spores itself..
u gotta time it right..
also as soon as it explodes another one will fall so watch ur head..
