Does this require kinect?

I'm about to buy it, but I don't have kinect. Does it require kinect to play or can I use the controller?

Ok sweet. In the description it mentions kinect with up to 14 players or something.

My game wouldn't launch until I turned on Kinect, so might want double confirmation before you buy.

i dont have kinnect and im 50% through the game, not sure about 14 players, sounds wrong.

the hoff has done a video promo for crash about kinnect, so u most be able to use it somehow, but i have do all junctions with a controler

It seems to work with both.

I've played it just with Kinect. You steer the car as if you were holding a steering wheel, you jump to make the car explode and you step in the direction that you want the car to fly. It works okay, although the directional thing takes a lot of getting used to.

I can confirm that it works without Kinect as I don't have it. However, on the title screen of the game, there seems to be a greyed out "Kinect Party" icon. Don't know what it's for, as I don't have Kinect but it seems to be an extra feature for the peripheral.

You can press a button before each crash if you want to use kinnect instead of the controller so it's up to you to play with or without it ... even though i have it i only played with controller with no problem whatsoever !
