Has anyone gotten some weird message on xbox live from KINECTVOICEOVER saying that the Helmet award is not available to US gamers? that the japanese version is kinect enabled and that's how they are jumping up on the leaderboards/etc...

The Helmet is 100% real, many top players on abc score attack leaderboard, the top 120 in fact have their avatars wearing it!

These players are in japan, USA and UK to name a few places.

Don't listen to tripe unconfirmed hearsay.

I find the helmet avatar award difficult to unlock. Probably one of the hardest avatar awards out there

The AfterBurner helmet is cool as fcuk. been a huge fan of this since playing it in that massive cabinet 20 odd years ago. got it on PS but seeing as its only 400 points at the moment I think its worth buying again, if only for the avatar awards, awesome.
