CONFIRMED : YOU DO NOT NEED TO KILL THE ZOMBIES YOU JUST NEED TO SHRINK THEM !
monkey is needed also 110% guaranteed - but it has to be a monkey who attacks you and runs away. just popped as i shot a monkey running up the unclimbable stairs @ spawn. Blasted him with the shrink ray and the achievement popped! now for the easter egg

shreeking zombie
and a monkey that attacks and runs or takes a power up and runs away
the one i shrunk had attacked me and had no power up but i shrunk him as he was running away

sorry was mid game when posting
trying to finish last steps of the easter egg

you dont need to kill the zombies - or walk into them when small
just shoot them with the gun so they shrink
I shot the napalm zombie in the tunnel
the regular zombie and mass packs of zombies to live after
the shreeker
and no achievement
2 rounds later 2 monkeys attacked me
i chased 1 back to the spawn stairs aimed and fire the shrink ray
BAM
achievement unlocked
didnt kill the monkey or shoot him again just so he shrunk
so DO NOT NEED TO KILL JUST SHRINK
wasted time trying to F*N kill them all small so if you do SPIN the gun
dont bother trying to kill them when small more then kill the specific 4 you need

next round i got 1 running after he attacked me

NO!!! YOU CAN NOT KILL THE SITTING MONKEYS!!! I had the norm, napalm, and shieker and i tried to shoot a monkey at the spawn, and i didn't pop. I even shot 3 of them, you have to shoot a monkey that is running around trying to attack you/steal power ups.

This isn't working for me, I got napalm, regular, shrieker, AND monkey, ALL IN ONE ROUND, killed them all and finished the round but no cheivo!!! Are we sure this works in solo?

Yes I did it in Solo. Just make sure the monkey you shrink is summoned by a drop and not one of the ones sitting around the map.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that my copy is just screwed up, I sholud have gotten it several times by now... the same with "if they came to hear me beg" on halo reach, the vid of me completing it is on my file share, but no achievement!!!!
I hate my life!!!
