Opposite of Hate Mail

So I, like a lot of people, play Black Ops and just play to have fun. Sure, I want to win and get pissed once and awhile but I don't take it to seriously.

I have been going for a personal goal of getting 3000 kills with a certain weapon. I know some will shrug this off and say psshh 3k kills is easy.

But, I'm going for it with the Law. Yup, the rocket launcher. I just broke 2800 last night so things are looking good.

I think while over the course of time I have gotten maybe 5 hate mails about me using it. But I have gotten way more "props" type messages.

Last night was the latest one that was a voice message that said: "Damn dude, I don't know what I did to piss you off but please stop hitting me with that damn thing."

I responded back. "Nothing personal, honest"

Got a reply back. "Can I at least be on your team. You're a beast with that thing."

The Law is currently my 3rd most kills with weapon. A stat I am actually pretty proud of.

So, I just wanted your guys opinion on the Law. Do you think it's cheap, do you rank it with the grenade launcher, or do you think it takes some skill to use?

This isn't a toot my own horn topic honest, I'm just curious as to what others really think.

The LAW? LOL I hate that peice of $h!t. It's pretty impressive you can get that many kills with it, it's like a beast for hitmarkers, right along with the China Lake (my most hated weapon), with there being no Danger Close and all that.

Congrats on getting so many kills with it, I think I have like ~100 but they're all from Gun Game pretty much.

My top weapon is L96 with like 2000+ kills I think. Yea I'm a bad sniper.

Wow, that is impressive. I hate the LAW and china lake, I only use the law to shoot down spy planes before lvl 30. I have like 8500 kills with the AUG and after that its Commando, Ak47, and the FAMAS. I'm a straightforward player

I dont think its cheap, quite the opposite, if you can get that many kills with a one shot explosive that has to be almost a direct hit to kill someone and is useless against flak jacket you deserve props. I assume you use scavenger? Does scavenger collect LAW ammo? I never use either so i dont really know....

Noob tubes deserve more hate because they get two shots and you still have an assault rifle when you're done.

I do use Scavenger Pro, but it doesn't replenish launcher ammo. It just means I can start with 2 rockets.

Nothing overly special, but I have a blast doing it. My best map for Law kills is Summit I think. More walls, and corners to place the shots. Firing Range is good to though and lots of corners but you have to place the rockets a little more carefully.

The most hate mail ive ever seen was when a friend of mine and i were playing S&D on World at War. My friend used the nambu(worst pistol in W@W) and went 13 and 2. He got something like 4 messages a match doing that.

Nice clip btw, those guys were dumb all going the same way when they knew there was a LAW toting maniac on the other team.

Pun was very much intended. lol

My record for most Law kills in one match was 11 on Summit. By the end of the match everyone but one guy was running Flak Jacket. Which meant only 1 guy running Ghost.

I'm sneaky like that.

I recently tried the grenade launcher, I got the final kill with it on hazard from my team's spawn all the way to the other teams spawn I got 3 messages "Holy shit nice aim" (not sure which team) "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB" (guy killed) "thats why i wear FJ" (some guy on my team)

That's a lot of kills, especially since launchers are unbelievably weak in black ops. Just curious whats your kdr with it?

I think there is some level of skill required to use the law because you pretty much have to either direct hit or hit like 2 inches away from the person you want to die.I personally dont play blops to win anymore i just like running around with my gold stakeout pissing people off

It would only be impressive if you had less than 2800 deaths whilst using it. Assuming you don't, then it's just a time consuming exercise rather than a skilled one. It's like being 'impressed' that someone is 15th prestige - anyone can do it, it's just whether or not you have the free time.
