Future plans with the Deadly Premonition IP

As good as the following news will be, be warned that nothing is 100% in the cards, just talk. SWERY, the Japanese developer behind the madness that is Deadly Premonition told GameCentral of future plans with the Deadly Premonition IP. Plans for a sequel and prequel were discussed between SWERY and Deadly Premonition developer Access Games. A Special Edition re-release with better graphics has also been planned.
SWERY has stated that publisher talks between he and Access Games have been conducted over his latest mystery project, but there is no confirmation that the Deadly Premonition IP will continue; hopefully it will. Even though the graphics of Deadly Premonition were bad, they didn’t stop me from enjoying the game to the fullest. A few gameplay tweaks would do the game wonders.

No need for a re release but a another game in another area is more than welcome.

If this is true, I hope they don't run into any stupid legal snags that set any sequel's release back by a year or two like they did when Deadly Premonition was originally called Rainy Woods.

but yes I agree. Remaking the original Deadly Premonition with better graphics would be sacrilege. Its perfect the way it is. The lousy graphics and control compliment the kusoge feel of everything.

I would be very excited if they re-made the game with Great HD graphics.

It would win GOTY thats for sure.

Any excuse to get back into Deadly Premonition again is win.

A sequel/prequel would be awesome aswell.
