Weapon achievements

Can you go to a level (i.e the airport) and kill everyone with a specific weapon then restart from the checkpoint to kill everyone again for the achievement? Or would it not count? Same goes for the martyr achievement.

Yes, you can, this question has been answered before I think.
All kills tally up and you can keep going back to the last checkpoint.

Yes, You certainly can.

I suggest starting a checkpoint from the level Miami since there are alot of enemies in that level.

For the 25 marty's kills restart the begging of the Afghanastan level and for the heavy armor enemies Download the free content and to Miami alternative ending and you'll get 6-7 every playthrough of the level.
