Online Games...Don't think they are working

So I've tried to boost with two others, and both times we can connect to each others game, but it always disconnects us at the opening kickoff. Has Anyone gotten an online game to work recently?

where were they from cuz i know i had problems connecting with people in uk and scotland but the us worked just fine.

this was about 6 months ago. do u both have good internet connections?

Yep, my Internet is fine. I think it's a server issue.

custom teams make the game disconnect more often then reg teams, so quit out of 10 games when ur using ur custom team and then play however u need to get 1 mll and buy all equip

The servers were fine last week when I was boosting with a friend. Nothing has been mentioned about downed servers.

I've been trying to boost some of the online achievements for the past week or two and every time my boosting partner and I get disconnected before the kickoff. I've tried connecting to some of my friends who have the game and the same thing happens. They even tried connecting to each other (to make sure it wasn't something wrong with my connection or NAT) and still nothing.

Anyone know what is going on? Did they close the servers permanently or something?

I boosted this game at the beginning of August 2010. It worked really fine, I'm from Canada, the other guy is from the US. No problems at all.

But I did hear that a lot of ppl had problems connecting.

Well Midway filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in Feb of 09. By June 2010, they had liquidated all of their assests and were basically defunct. Midway Chicago, which created Blitz, was bought by Warner Bros. and turned into NetherRealm Stuidos. And they only have one goal in mind: Mortal Kombat.

Chances are, the servers have been permanently shut off.

But I will still try if anyone else wants to!

But online gaming for this game still works fine, just boosted it today.

Do the servers still go? I just bought this yesterday from TradeMe (New Zealand eBay) and waiting for it to arrive

Maybe 2 weeks ago when I was in a boosting session for Gears of War, one of the other guys did say that the servers are still up.

That said, I am in AUS and I see you are in NZ. If you wanted to try and boost the online, I'd be more than happy to start the game and do it with you. Being close to one another, the online may not be so bad.
