Whats the easy way to take over Naval base in last mission?

As soon I hop in the helio with my 3 cpu teammates, we fly over the sea and went straight over the naval base and circle it around. It didn't work as the objective would finish.

[Mission 11]
-The last mission. Assaulting the naval base is a pointless waste of time. After destroying the AAA vehicles, grab a helicopter, fly straight towards the ocean, make a fairly big turn and approach the naval base from the sea. Fly over the naval base once and you should get the "Objective Completed"marker. Note that you must have at least one squad member alive for this to work. Kudos to Le Garnisher for finding that out.

It doesn't work for me or I am doing it wrong?

Well I did it earlier on Hardcore and all you have to do is camp at the back of the base, the hillside, and try to get as much enemies as you can ( they will keep coming so you just stay up) then when you see that only a couple are left go down and kill the remaining enemies and then its done.

as soon as you destroy the two AAA vehicles in the village the helicopter will land. Ignore that and run back towards the entrence of the village. Hop in to the M1A1 tank and have fun!

If you fly straight to the base immediately, you can get there before the enemies spawn.

At the village, there's a hill to your right with a fella with a very high powered sniper rifle. Go get him and his rifle and then take out the thugs in the naval base from a mile out. Simple.

I do recommend playing any mission with friends who have microphones on Xbox Live.

I did it approaching to the base from the left. After having killed the enemies defending the first fence, from one of the tall hills it was very easy to kill all those SF soldiers running toward my team.
