for the Teacher's Pet - 20 achievement ... for the SPIN METHOD i have to add that i done it with a small trick.

I entered the zone and i started to spin ... BUT ... my car was NOT all of it inside the zone. Only the half of my car was in.

I only got 2 of the 3 triangles full ... but it was continuously filling my 2 triangles.
So i stayed spinning on that spot until i accumulated the points needed for the platinum. easy!!!

8/10 is more realistic some parts are quite tricky most of the game is too easy but some challenges/races & MP ranking without boosting require a lot of player skill/dedication.

Do only the 4 seasons have achievements with them, or do the extra rally's you unlock (the smaller triangles) have achievements tied to them too?

Other then just getting rep points, of course.

You have to complete the 6 world tours to get the "Dirt to Glory" achievement. You can get some of the miscellaneous achievements from DC Challenges as well, and need to complete the dc challenges for the achievements with them.

didn't bother to read the whole thread, but maka. even with boosting you won't reach lvl 35 in 5hours. you can get 1 race done in ~3min with all loading times + 1,30 race time.

Could I suggest the cheevs are ordered a bit better? Group them in type, i.e. the Battersea ones together, and the online ones after all the single player ones, rather than having to jump back and forth in the list to find them.

I have to submit them to the website in the way they are posted on the main page. I am keeping it like this for a few more weeks, until I'm 100% happy with it, and then I will re-order it after I submit for the main page.

Oh right, this I did not know lol. Just out of interest, when are the guides from the forum put onto the main page of the game? What's the time period / eligibility rules?

Submissions aren't considered until a full month after the official world-wide released.

After that, depending on the game, it takes a week or so, to make it to the main page.

The Eat My Dirt! achievement can be unlocked just by playing the DiRT Tour alone, I unlocked it after completing all races in the first four seasons and then the Gymkhana World Tour races.

Did anyone else have problems with the new DLC achievements?

For whatever reason, the new cars don't show up in tour mode for me, and even though I got the "try all the new cars" one, I can't get the achievement for "win a tour mode race with a custom setup".

Great Guide fairplay, im just stuck grinding that online fanbase tier now, currently at 27 with about 102000 fans, but my god its taking a while now, gonna get that Cautious rank asap tho for sure, alot easier to boost than i thought, so thanks...

This achievement guide is 100% complete and has been updated with both of the available DLC Packs.

Thanks for all the positive feedback on the guide (especially the platinum video guides), and thanks to anyone who may have helped out in any way. This is probably the hardest I have ever worked on a guide, and I hope it pays off to those who see it.

One game, best in free for all (solo).

You can play on difficulty "1", and will be able to get all the achievements.

You may have to change more settings for other achievements though.

Mud and Guts Car Pack Achievements

Watch the Paintwork!
Complete a clean race with a car from the Mud and Guts Car Pack
Just finish a race without damaging your car or hitting anyone else. Easiest way to do this would probably be in a Rally race; set the difficulty to the lowest setting, and then just take your time finishing the race.

The Lively Set
Drive all of the cars from the Mud and Guts Car Pack
Lancia Stratos - Rally - 70s
Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2 - Rally - Group B
Citroën C4 Rallycross - Rallycross - RX
Saturn Sky - Gymkhana
Ford Mustang GT - Trailblazer - Modern
Just complete a single player race with each car. This may be similar to the New Wheels achievement in which you only have to drive a few meters for it to count as the car being driven.

God, I've been doing it for the past 2 hours, but finally got it!!

Thanks for the great guide, it was very helpful to get me to 985/1250. Videos in particular were very useful.
Going to try and get the multiplayer and gold/platinum medals to get the full 1250 (though I think the platinum is too hard and I have so many games to finish I won't have time to get Super Star).
