No Introduction In the same theme as Flight Control and Parking Mania, Harbor Master is a traffic simulation game. Your role is to guide boats into docks where they unload their cargo, and then direct them off the edge of the map. Simple in concept, simple in mechanics, but things can get a little hairy in execution. A fun game indeed, but the fun gets drained out by the time you have unloaded 50,000 cargo. Comment on difficulty Most of the achievements are a 1/10 in difficulty. Admiral and Pacifist require a bit of skill and luck and can be quite frustrating. Harbor Master is not particularly difficult other than in fighting boredom after a while. 50,000 units takes a LONG time. First steps Start with Explorer in mind, and as you play each map, check to see if it has achievements that can only be unlocked on that map. If so, complete them before moving on to the next map. Once you have run through those, unlock the three achievements related to the Fast Forward function, and then do Perfectionist. Wrap up the few remaining achievements other than Pacifist, Admiral, and the three for shipping cargo. Pacifist requires a bit of patience and luck, but can be done in 3-4 minutes when it works as planned. The long grind The majority of your time will be spent earning Admiral and Harbor Master. There are two generally acknowledged methods for earning Admiral, and they both require extensive practice. Unlocking Harbor Master is not hard, but is a rather long grind. You will make significant progress towards it while earning Admiral, but ultimately if you want this achievement you are going to spend a lot of time docking boats.
