First off i think you should add to the guide that both this achievement as well as pitching a tent MUST BE DONE IN CAREER mode (no freeskate (i locked and slid 4-5 nosegrinds in freeskate before finally trying it in career).
Secondly, this achievement simply requires the right timing on your pushing, here it is: go up the ramp elevator and back up all the way against the door when up there. Get three pushes (holding down x or a, No tapping). As your skater is making his third push you should be near the top of the incline still; tap up on the left stick to "pump", giving you more speed. After your character starts to stand up again you have enough time to get a fully charged ollie. Using this method i was getting on the rafter around 1-5. Also it may be easier to lock a nosegrind because you will be leaning foward, past the metal thing that clips you all the time. Hope this helps.

Was struggling with the speed before and watching videos doesn't really help, but this did. Still took a good 20-30 mins after reading this to get it though - including two times where I grinded the boom but got no achievement, but I got there in the end!

Had 1475 out 1500 for ages - haven't been able to get BOOM goes the dynamite. I've spent many hours trying to get it landed on it many times but unable to grind even stopped on it and walked along it. Going to try it whilst in the career tomorrow hope I can get it I really enjoyed playing the game.
