Please help. I beat the game...or so I thought (Spoilers)

Okay I just destroyed Goliath at the end of Chapter 7. It went into a cut scene and there was a reporter talking. I all of a sudden unlocked the achievement Fatal and Tragic which involves jumping off the golden gate bridge (which i never did?). Then all off a sudden once the cut scene was over I was back the the last checkpoint where I need to get into the HUMVEE. Why didn't I get my achievements for completing the chapter and not dying? What happened?

Edit: I tried playing through the last part when it brought me to it but it did the same thing. Send me right back. Anyone care to explain? This is annoying. I want to beat the freaking game!

Edit2: I just want to thank this game for being so glitchy. I went to climb the ladder as instructed (when you get knocked off and the continue on you eventually come to a ladder to get back up). I press X to climb it and my guy climbed on and he has been stuck there now for about 8 minutes. I tried pressing every button. This is awesome....not really. Guess I have to play through the level again.

There was another thread earlier today with the same situation. He said that he just restarted the checkpoint and he got the achievement for beating the game. Other than that, I really don't know what to do..

And with getting stuck in a certain place, it has happened to me online and in chapter 3 while trying to beat it without dying.

I tired restarting but same thing kept happening. And besides even if it worked I wouldnt have got my iron man achievement =(

Im trying again now. Went to take a break.

Dashboard and try again. So far, that maneuver has fixed every glitch I've run into.

This exact thing happened to me on my iron man run for this level, my last iron man cheevo too. *sigh*
