Introduction:
Full House Poker is the follow-up to 1vs100. Like 1vs100, Full House Poker features Avatar support and features scheduled TV-Style Texas Heat Online Tournament. The Texas Heat tournaments takes place on certain days with at least four events on each scheduled day. ***Note: This is the XBLA version, the WP7 version can be found here***

Abbreviated Walkthrough:

Starting Off
I would suggest starting out the easiest achievement: Stylish Host. After this, I would go start a multiplayer game to earn Bucket List #12,472 and Trickster. During this game you might also earn the following achievement:
Headshot
Ding! Grats!
Cardrack
Gone Fishing
Hollywooding
I Hate ATM Fees
I See The Future
It's Like The Wave
Pull The Trigger

Pro Takedown
You should be leveled up enough to unlock your first Pro Takedown after one game (if not, just play a few more games). Now go for Took Down a Pro and Big Dog

Clean Up
By now, you should have most of the achievements (if not keep playing games and focus on doing the achievement). The only ones you should have left are the following:
Ding! Double Digits! (Level 10)
Extra Tricky (Level 14)
Your Not The Boss of Me
The Final Table
Ding! Top Dog! (Level 50)

Just keep playing games to earn XP and money completing the Pro Takedowns as you go. Also for the DLC achievements, I would keep an eye out for the schedule and play as many games as possible until you unlock all three DLC achievements (Hot Pot Master, Summer 2011, Gold Medal Champion Summer 2011, and Winner's Circle 2011)

Conclusion:
Full House Poker has easy but time consuming achievements. Luckily the game is fun and addicting, so you shouldn't get bored with it.

Bucket List #12,472 5
Completed a ranked multiplayer game of Full House Poker

Simply play through a full ranked match. You do not have to win, just finish it. Will unlock at the end of the match.

Pull The Trigger 10
Bet on every street in a hand and then won the showdown

For this achievement, you will have to place a bet on the Flop (first three cards), the Turn (fourth card), and the River (last card) and then win. Best advice I can give is go with the minimum bet to avoid from having the other players fold before the showdown.

Big Dog 10
Won a tournament

Start up a new game in single player or create a lobby in multiplayer (unranked). On the rules selection menu select tournament. You can make a tournament with just two players to make it go
faster. You can also get this achievement by simply playing any Pro Takedown (Credit DTM V1).

Ding! Top Dog! 20
Leveled up to 50

Achievement will unlock eventually after playing a while. XP can be earned in Single Player, Multiplayer, Texas Heat, and Pro Takedown. Pro Takedown is the easiest way to earn XP as you will gain a lot of XP just for beating the Pros and you can keep replaying them. Here is a list of the XP you can earn

Dealt In - Varies (You will get XP just for being dealt in)
Showdown Winner - 100XP (Winning the showdown)
Got Out Free - 250XP (Did not put any money in the pot; folded early *can not get if you are the one of the blinds)
Smart Fold - 500XP (Folding on a hand you would have lost, if it is revealed that you would have lost if you stayed in)
Winning Spree - 500XP (Win 2 or more games
All-In to Win - 250XP (Simply win a hand after going all-in)
Witness to Fame - 100XP (Earned in Texas Heat only)
Pushed Harder - 150XP (Keep raising the bet until the other person folds)

PRO TAKEDOWNS REWARDS
Beating Sonny/Rachel - 5,000XP
Beating Larry - 7,500XP
Beating Mel/Rai - 10,000XP
Beating Lily - 12,500XP
Beating Johnny/Marshall - 15,000XP
Beating Daisy - 17,500XP
Winning the All Pro Tournament- 25,000XP

Hollywooding 5
Honed your acting skills by performing 10 aggressive or timid plays

Simply hold RT (aggressive) or LT (timid) while you are betting/checking/folding 10 times to unlock this. Can do multiple in one hand.

I See the Future 5
Used every possible pre-action at least once

The pre-actions are when you are waiting for your turn to bet. You will have to do the following actions:
Check ()
Check/Fold ()
Bet/Raise ()

Leveled up to 10

I Hate ATM Fees 20
Played 50 hands in a row without taking a cash advance

Should be easy if you play smart and conservatively. Just play 50 games without losing all of your bankroll.

Rollin' 10
Earned a bankroll of at least 500,000 chips

You will earn this as you play. You can also earn this quickly by winning the All-Pro Tournament.

Gone Fishing 10
Won a showdown with a hand you made on the river

This one will be random but shouldn't take long. You will have to be losing the hand up to the last card and then win it on the River (last card before the showdown). If you do get a good hand on the last card, I would not raise the bet unless another player does because if you do and everybody folds, you will not have a showdown and you will not get the achievement.

Busted another player in a ranked multiplayer game

Just have to eliminate a player from a ranked game. Should be easy as long as you play it smart. You do not have to take all his/her chips, just the one to knock him/her out of play.

You're Not the Boss of Me 10
Beat Larry, Lily, or Daisy in a Pro Takedown

You will unlock Larry Louche after beating both Sonny Sky (Level 3) and Rachel (Level 7), Lily Sun after beating Mel Mathews (Level 12) and Rai Singh (Level 16), and Daisy Deuce after beating Johnny Spade (Level 22) and Marshall Star (Level 26). You only need to beat one for the achievement. You do not have to reach the level listed with each "boss" character, just beat the two Pros before him/her.

Larry Louche has a bully style. This means that he will be raise the bets trying to get you to fold. Just don't match his high bets until you get a good hand then try to use his aggressiveness against him.

Stylish Host 5
Hosted a multiplayer game with customized table, chair, and card styles

Go into the Multiplayer, choose Create New Game, use default rules, change the table, chairs and card styles, and start it up. You don't have to play the game, the achievement will unlock in the lobby.

Trickster 5
Performed a chip trick at the table or while a menu screen is displayed

Just simply press , , during a hand or at the menu screen and the achievement will unlock.

Leveled up to 2

Took Down a Pro 10
Won a Pro Takedown

You will unlock your first pro, Sonny Skye, at level 3. He has a loose-passive style so it shouldn't be that hard to beat him if you play it smart.

Extra Tricky 10
Performed 3 different chip tricks in the same hand

You will earn your third trick at level 14. You can check your tricks list in multiplayer by pressing and scrolling over a page. Just do any three of these in one hand. The first three chip tricks you will unlock are the following

The Final Table 20
Won the All-Pro Tournament

The All-Pro Tournament will unlock after you have beat all of the Pros in Pro Takedown. This tournament will have you playing all of the Pros at once. My best adviced is to play this very tight and fold unless you have a good hand. Also, about 4/5 times you can keep raising the bet after the river and the AI will kinda start a raise war and they should either fold after a few raises or call your bet. If they call your bet after the turn card, if they do not get a hand, they will check it. If they do this, simply raise and they will fold.

It's Like the Wave 10
All 10 players at a single table performed a chip trick during the same hand

You start off with one trick. You can do this in multiplayer by having everyone do this in one hand or you can start up a single player game, do a trick on the first hand, and wait a few minutes before finishing the hand.

Cardrack 10
Won two consecutive showdowns

Showdowns occur after the river. If there are atleast two players at the end of the betting, they will go into a showdown where they show their cards and decide a winner. You will have to win two in a row and this is based off of luck. I would keep the betting down low or checking to avoid the other players fold.

Texas Heat Summer 2011 DLC Guide

NOTE: The DLC is free. There are certain times you can play this (schedule is availble in the menu). However, if you are going for full completion, I would recommend doing them ASAP. Like the Spring DLC, they could end the season in the next few months and you could not be able to unlock them after that. Click here for an up to date list of times for Texas Heat as well as specials for the times (Note: The Summer Texas Heat Schedule has not been posted yet, but I will update the times when they are posted). NOTE: These are not the official tiles for the achievements, they look the same but may be a different color. I will update the official tiles as soon as I find out

Hot Pot Master, Summer 2011 10
Win a Hot Pot hand in Texas Heat’s Spring 2011 season

A Hot Pot occurs when there has been enough chips entered. You can check how much is needed for the Hot Pot by pressing . Once the Hot Pot occurs, the announcer will announce "Hot Pot" and the chip icon next to the pot amount will be on fire. Win this hand to unlock the achievement.

Gold Medal Champion Summer 2011 15
Finish a Texas Heat show with a Gold Medal in the Spring 2011 season

This will be the hardest achievement for the game. At the end of the round, you will be shown how much XP you earned that round. You don't have to be #1 but you do have to be atleast within the top 15% to get the Gold Medal. However, this isn't just the room you are in, this is for everyone playing at the time. I got this achievement by repeatedly folding and getting smart fold bonuses (except for one time, I went all in with pocket jacks and won) and got 19,000 xp. The winner had about 29,000 xp so you don't earn a ton of xp to get it. I would say if you have 17 or 18 thousand xp you will get it. You will also earn some bonus xp at the end of the game so don't panic if you are short before the game is over. Also, make sure you do not leave the game before it shows the board. Doing so will cost you the achievement.

A good tip would be is to change your avatar to a female and play on the ladies nights. Since the majority of the players in Texas Heat have male avatars, a female avatar could give you an advantage with the extra XP.

Winner’s Circle, Summer 2011 25
Accumulate a total of five million table chips across the Spring 2011 season of Texas Heat

Simply just keep playing the Texas Heat games. There are different tables with different amounts of starting chips: Diamond (2,500 Chips), Double Diamond (25,000 Chips), and Triple Diamond (250,000). However, you will not be able choose which table you go to. Tables will be assigned depending on how you do. You will be placed at a table to start at and if you are doing good, you will get to moved up, if you bust on Double or Triple, you will get moved down to the next table. At the end, you will get to keep a precentage of you winnings. You will also get chips for how depending on what your best hand was.

DLC: Texas Heat, Summer 2012 Season Guide

Alpha Dog 15
Win 25 tournaments

If you have already done this before the update, the achievement will unlock. If you haven't won enough tournaments or just starting this, you will get 10 tournament wins when going for The Final Table achievement. You can set up 15 two people tournaments to finish off this achievement quickly. You can check your progress by going into Help & Options and checking your Career Stats.

Win 10 hands with a Full House

This achievement is not retroactive. You will need to win 10 hands with Full House (two pairs and three of a kind). The best way to get this is to always play every hand. If you get a pair or better on the flop, check/call. If you have two pairs or better on the turn, check/call. When you get a full house, don't raise the bet because the computer might fold and could mean you won't get credit for it. The chances of getting a Full Houses varies but you will probably have this while going for the Poker Fan achievement.

Poker Fan 20
Play 10,000 hands of Full House Poker

This will be the biggest grind in this game. If you have played this before, all the hands played before the update will count towards the achievements. You can check your progress in the Help & Options-Career Stats. The best way to grind this is to set up a 30 person tournament. This will allow you to play more hands and work on more achievements if needed. I was able to play about 150 hands just in a tournament that I finished 8th in. Also if you have the WP7 version of the game, all the games you play on it will count. Just to be safe, I would recommend not playing your 10,000 hand on your phone though just incase it glitches.

What would one rate this out 10 in terms of difficulty? I mean I have no problem with hard or time-consuming achievements, but I'd never play an arcade game with extremely lucky, glitched, or impossible achievements, regardless of gameplay. However, I'm a huge fan of poker and achievements so this game could be a great combination.

Anyone know what all the pre-action moves are? Just Call, Raise, Fold and Check? Is All-In one of them?

I also bet all streets of a hand and won the showdown and didn't get the cheevo.

McGoogles, it's EXACTLY like playing Texas Hold'em. If you enjoy poker, you'll enjoy the game, simply put. At least the multiplayer, as that's all I've done for the last couple of hours. And the ach's come naturally, I haven't even tried and I've gotten a couple of the online ones. As long as you know how to play I can't see any of the ach's being hard, just make sure you get the Texas Heat first season ones in the time frame.

Are you blind? Can you not read? Or are you just really that stupid? If you actually took the time to actually READ or even LOOK at the achievement guide, you would clearly see I did actually start to explain the achievements for most of them. And I put on there that it is a WORK IN PROGRESS, which means it wasn't 100% done yet.

For example you need to bet on the pre-flop, the flop, the turn card, and on the river card, and then win a showdown against another player for this achievement.

You need to be the person raising or the only person betting every turn.

Plus the guide for this achievement on this guide is incorrect.

I got this against the AI, I raised every hand and when the river was out the AI folded. I still got the achievement.

Two other pieces of wrong information:

1) For 'Stylish Host' you do not need to unlock any items. You can simply change the default color of the cards, table and chairs and it will unlock.

2) Your first chip trick is unlocked at the very start of the game, not at level 2.

Updated the guide a little and added a link for the Time Schedule for the Texas Heat.

Reminder to everyone that the first of three sessions for Texas Heat for today will begin here in a few hours and the DLC achievements will become available then. I will try to update this so I can make sure that I will give you the most accurate description for it. I would also recommend that if you have not reached or gone past Level 10 yet to wait until the event starts before playing more since you will receive bonus payouts for being level 10 or lower.

Guide updated with details on the DLC. Only one that I am unsure of right now is the Gold Medal one. If anyone can let me know for sure on this, I will appreciate it.

Also I noticed that when players leave the game, sometimes one of the Pros will take over. I don't know if you can knock them out to get the Took Down a Pro achievement or not. If anyone has done it and know let me know and I will add it to the achievement guide and give you credit as well.
