Excellent Glitch to get Ace! Works Like Charm

there is another method, easier but takes more time to do it. Start the game either on normal alone or with another player on insane. Reach the Re-Entry level, do it all the way until you reach the level's boss (the spider robot who throws 8 meteors, then destroys them with a laser attack). Do not kill the boss yet. If you are near 100,000-130,000 points by now do this: Simply avoid/dodge the meteors and the laser attacks, grab the powerups (but don't use them) (they worth 50 points). When the player gets the solid laser powerup, use it to destroy some or most of the meteors before the robot does the samething. You get 40 points per meteor (8 * 40 = 320 + 50 for the powerup = 370 points). Rinse and repeat. You will get ~10,000 points for destroying the boss, so do this trick until you reach ~175,000 points. After destroying the boss, you should get the achievement. If not, at the next level. I need somebody who can try this with me on insane, because on normal, it's taking some
times. (I died at 120,150 points )

I finally got this achievement, so happy now. Finally, I was using the glitch posted before, i almost lost my progess at level 5 because one of my ship died when i was trying to move to the right of the screen in order to hide there because of the diagonal laser attacks but I was able to rescue it with my other ship then quickly i made it with both of my ships, then I did the attach-deattach trick. When I reached the final boss, I had 174,750 points and i was like, damn i hope this boss doesn't worth 10,000 points like the others because i will be 10250 points short for getting the achievement But i got 20,000 points for it, so my final score was over 194,750

I can verify that this works. Be careful of when starting level 4 as well. You need to be VERY quick attaching and reattaching because on my first play through I died and on my second play through I took damage but luckily didn't die.

On level 5, the final boss battle (spider looking thing), make sure to move towards the center of the screen because his lasers can shoot downwards if you are in the left-hand bottom corner.

Of course, Now i find a cheat to get the achievment. I did mine on normal and got 186,350 but i had to kill almost everything to get it.

how do you "aim" your rockets ive tried shooting with all the different buttons but i am not able to control the rockets. am i missing something here?

okay. i just figured it out. you have to make sure that the ship you want to shoot with is on top. that is how you aim your shots. unless my theory is wrong but it seemed to work for me.

I tried doing this achievement legit twice on insane first try I got 171,000 points and the second try I got 169,000 I might give this glitch a try which is the only achievement left I need

just be careful on the last boss, he can get you if your not far enough down. i was at 184000 roughly and some how died from the final boss.

Thank you I got the achievement using this glitch I maxed aegis wing now again thank you it does work oh and I almost forgot to say this glitch does not work online it has to be 2 controllers me and a friend tried and it just pulled us back up.

guide works great, just got 195k easy.

just make sure you kill the first wave on level 3 before doing the trick, and make sure you stay to the right of the screen on level 5 boss and it is cake!

The glitch makes this game a 1-2 max in difficulty. When my ships were on the bottom of the screen, i rotated a couple more times to make sure nothing could hit me. Ace may take a few tries, until you figure out the game a little bit. Every should be able to get the game done within a day. Thanks for the trick and good luck to everyone who has yet to achieve this

Wow thanks for this awesome glitch. i went from only ten point for two achievements i got two years ago to getting all of them in a day. didnt have any hope to finish this game. the only ones i couldnt do with this was exterminator and epic formation
