Did I do something wrong with the drinking game achievement? I drank from each one of them without turning off the xbox(not in one continuous run) and then beat the last boss but still got no achievement?

EDIT: I just read here that you need to get to the next auto save point for the fountain to count. That should be added to the guide.

A little late, but yes, you can go back and replay previous missions, and as long as you get to the next checkpoint, it will save any increases in your damage costs to the city. I did that before I got to the last boss, so I don't know about having to beat him again or not.

I needed one more Proton Pack upgrade, the Boson Damage Immunity, and had enough money at the Hindenburg checkpoint so bought it. I then got killed, thanks to my stupid AI team mates, and reloaded the checkpoint to find I no longer have this upgrade, but the cost of it has still been deducted from my total so I can't buy it again yet. What a load of rubbish.

So we know the PS3 version is patched...Yeah for PS3 people. Here is the thing though...Do we even know if the Xbox 360 version is being worked on??? Are they going to fix the freezing for us and more importantly the glitched achievements???

A quick question before I get this game today. For the shooting tex achievement it says to get under 100,000 in property damage. So does catching ghost count towards that? since getting all the upgrades is 166,500.

No buying the upgrades does not count against you, the shooting ones are easy the only level you really have to watch it in is the museum. When I did the nice shooting tex I let the AI do most of the work and only fought the ghosts when I had to. It's a little boring but it will work. I would also do it on easy so you don't take to much damage ducking and weaving.

No, you can't. The amount you accumulate is the amount you owe, period. You can't get any more than what you've earned through replay, either.

If you've screwed up, you have to start all the way over.

... you can replay levels to add to your damage total.

Plus, since the game has come out, we've found a "select storage device" trick that allows you to bypass the 'expensive' levels with no worry to damage caused.

Remedy a dubious food choice to make the bar mitzvah as orthodox as it can be.

If you miss this achievement, load up Hotel Sedgewick --> Rodriguez Bar Mitzvah. The table on the right has a large, tiered white cake. To left of the cake is the ham to shoot.

I Love You When You Rough-House! 10
The tidy arcitectural office could use some Proton-based humbling.

If you miss this achievement, load up Times Square --> Puffy White Menace. Do not open the door next to Ray, until you think you've destroyed everything. You don't have to fight the Marshmallow minis. Just destroy the room.

But the Kids Love Us! 20
The children's reading room has a story to tell, but it will take more than your eyes to see it.

If you miss this achievement, load up Public Library --> Story Hour.

You Never Studied 10
Keep your ears open to learn everything you can about the Civil War.

If you miss this achievement, load up History Museum --> American History.

I've Quit Better Jobs Than This. 20
Some ghosts had a real blowout in the Coat Room. Clean it up?

If you miss this achievement, load up Return To Hotel Sedgewick --> Splitting Up. Return to the start of the level and find the room.

Hedgebuster 10
The hedge maze is a real eyesore; do some Protonic pruning.

If you miss this achievement, load up Lost Island --> The Hedge Maze.

One down, on the Ground! 20
Airborne coffins are an affront to gravity; use your Proton Pack to avenge Mother Nature!

If you miss this achievement, load up Central Park Cemetery --> Airstrike. Be ready, because there will be a coffin in the air on its way.

[I actually never got slimed playing this game until I purposely returned to the Sedgewick Hotel to go after this achievement. I, also, missed the ham, the drafting room and the children's library. Unfortunately, the main guide (as to date) didn't have what Chapter and Sub-Chapter to load up, so here it is.]

Nice Shootin', Tex! 30
Complete the game with less than $100,000 in property damage.

With two storage devices, a Hard Drive and a Memory Card, you can bypass all of the damage worry for this achievement.
Note: Starting a New Career overwrites any other save, erasing collectibles, upgrades, teammate revives, etc. So play on casual.

1. Start Ghostbusters using the HD as your storage device.
2. Play through the first chapter of training.
3. When Hotel Sedgewick loads, hit Start --> Options --> Settings --> Gameplay --> Select Storage Device.
4. Choose your Memory Card as your new save location and choose "Continue" when prompted to overwrite.
5. Play through the rest of the game with no regards to property damage.
6. When Lost Island loads, hit Start --> Options --> Settings --> Gameplay --> Select Storage Device.
7. Choose your HD from Step 1 and finish the game.

[Someone posted a suggestion for this and I put it to the test and confirmed that it does work.]

Complete the game on 'Professional' difficulty.

ARTIFACTS and UPGRADES
Collect all artifacts (again) to quickly purchase all upgrades, which are extremely helpful. You're awarded $1500 for each artifact found.

STONE ANGELS
The stone angels battle is one of the toughest battles on Professional difficulty, unless you follow these directions.

The idea is to wrangle/slam or tether the stone angels into the gate near the Ecto-1 to let it pass through.

Instead, Do not tether or wrangle the angels. Stand next to the gate at all times. The angels will attack you and damage the door in the process. You can tether one if you want, just don't step away from that door. Revive Ray only if he's nearby.

Any tips for beating the Collector on Professional, the boss of the library level?

I beat the librarian ghost fairly easily, that was the battle I was worried about, but I can't get the Collector. Stupid Ray and Egon keep dying left and right, and then the guy will just sit on them and stop me from reviving them.

I thought I read somewhere that when you start your saved game, you can drop back down to Casual, beat a boss, then bump it back up to Pro and still get credit. Is that true?

What about the storage device trick used to get the Nice Shootin' Tex achievement? Can you start a game on Pro, switch storage devices, drop down to Casual, then switch back at the end of the game and still get the achievement?

You say you got past the first part with the book stands creating a shield.

But the second time, when he's in a tornado form.
I got really frustrated, too, always picking up Egon and Ray, but getting killed in the process.

Here's the trick: Use the portals on the far sides of the room. When he walks toward you, quickly enter the portal and then shoot him in the back from the other side of the room until he's dead. It should only take 3 or 4 tries.

No, there are alot of online achievements that are glitched. 2 which are glitched and some more that are "On the Rag"

i think it's a shame about the most wanted ghost problem and i was thinking if enough people send a question to that askix show they do on the marketplace it might generate interest in whatever studio to try and post a patch
