i haven't played this yet, but i was wondering if another player could offer you player cards free without you needing to trade your cards?

Not really. You need to offer something for trade. You can do the coin glitch that Starlight posted here and instead of discarding the cards, press X and send a few to the trade pile.

Before sending them to the trade pile its good to click RS and write down what team they play for. Use their nationality to determine what league to look for them in. You can go through the "collection" to find the team because it displays the team crest(or logo) and it is easier to locate what league that team is.

Discard the remainder. Go to the trade pile and post the card for trade with unique settings for your friend to find (ie: 5 days [displays as 4days 23h] and 2500 coins). You friend can then choose to bid, buy now or make and offer I think he can offer 4 cards and unlimited coins.

Getting worthless cards for a trade is the easiest part really. It takes about 30 seconds to get to the "discard" part of the coin glitch once you are familiar with the screens.

PS: To anyone else looking here for information, you can use an xbox live silver account to navigate the menus and try it out before playing the game. Although it isn't to any advantage because you already have the game on your tag.

I'm pretty sure you can have 28 players on your team. However you need to keep a minimum of 18 on your team.

You can also have 28 more players/cards in the trade pile.

do you know if you can use silver accounts to buy gold packs and trade cards?

Silver accounts can trade cards. To buy gold packs you need to play 12 games with your Ultimate team. It isn't really worth it, just buy the packs on your main account.

You can transfer coins from silver accounts by posting a card for trade on your main and using the silver account to purchase it.

and also is there any fast way of receiving skills points faster to enter the tournaments?

Not sure about quits, I don't think they count towards anything.

I played three online quick ranked games against one of my dummy accouts, that gave me 75 skill points and enough to enter the first online tourney. After that you'll be good.
