1000 gamer score in half hour?

xbox official mag had an article saying that it is possible to 100% this game in a half hour. they said that the 30 year franchise achievement can be done after simming 1 season. does anyone know how that is done?

The only way i think that is possible is when you start a franchise you pick 30 teams. Then you sim that season and thats the loophole that gets you "30 seasons"?

Took me 30 minutes of plying and 3 and a half hours of simming to get 1000 in this game, so Im not sure, but I would assume that this forum would have that knowledge by now if it's true.

like what was said above. i played the game for half an hour or so. then spent 3 or 4 hours simming the game for the full 1k. so i would just take a look in the forums for that game for better info. but i do know it is a very easy 1k and cheep to. i got it for 6 dollars at gamestop and mailed it to a friend cause he was looking for it

EDIT - i dont know about shaun's thought. but it may work. but i dont see it happining like that. so if you want a quick 1k for cheep money this is it. 1k in one day is great to me!!!!!

This was a special issue I think, it was the "How-To Handbook"... not sure when it came out but it says "display until June 24th" on it. On the cover there is a section that says "11,000 achievement points in 2 days!" But if you are an avid user of this website it is pointless, as you probably already know about or have received the achievements already. To be honest with you it is mostly a bunch of bull, for example it claims you can get 200 points in UNO in an hour, You could maybe get 40 wins if you played for a day straight in that game. The games mentioned are basically all the 06 sports games that came out with very few achievements that were worth a lot, and messing with the game settings didn't effect them; and then open season, Fight Night and Fusion Frenzy 2. Theres nothing else too spectacular in the issue, so I would just flip through it until the Shopkeep tells you "this is a store not a library" rather than pony up the 10 bucks.

any word on this? i just ordered this for 88 cents off of amazon plus 4 dollar shipping, and will be going for it soon. I am assuming no, because if it were possible, it would be all over this sight.

Argh this game is crap, American Football sucks. So much god-damn stupid rules like offside and formation and crap. Atleast in football (as in Soccer) you can just kick the ball and just shoot and stuff, unless you get offside but that isnt hard and if you foul theyl just get sent off eventually. But in this its like every single time I have to wait ages for them to do that stupid pass thing. But im getting the gamerscore so oh well. And does anyone know if you can get 1000 in half hour then? I swear I read a comment on Madden NFL 08 that someone got 1000 on this game in like 15 minutes..? I dunno

Im pretty sure it was written down as a joke to make people get the game to go through it just to find it actually doesn't take half an hour.

People sometimes refer to this as a 'Prank' one where gullable people will fall for.

lol i just won the superbowl by siming with all 32 teams

thats awesome, i swear EA has to be the worst devs when it comes up to achievment difficulty...i mean not even in Madden 10 have they figured out that simply changing the A.I. and changing player ratings its so easy to get the achiemvents now that they started implimenting "specific difficulty settings"

now i just gotta actually play 1 game in this next season to unlock the stats achievments, then just sim the till i get the 30th season.

then its back to Gamefly, lol

I just simmed through 2034 and it said "this is the end of franchise mode" but no achievement. Anyone else have this happen/know why this might have happened?

i just got this game for98p hope theres no glitches. and can you get the sim for 30 years if you pick all 32 teams so the win the superbowl is easier?

I hate to call bs, but...bs! You might be able to all the achievements except 30 yr franchise in half an hour. I played 1 game and simmed everything else and got all the achievements...total playing time a little over an hour and a half but the simming of whole seasons takes forever cuz of the offseason.
