As tough as NBA 2K8?

I won't mess with the sliders, but I'm an achievement junkie, so I want to see how many I can get playing this game legit.

NBA 2K8 was insanely difficult for me. I played on the 3rd difficulty, and even when I used "money" plays and strats I would get buried.

Is this game as frustrating as 2K8?
